Brilliant stay as always lovely hotel brilliant staff always nice polite would highly recommend to others

Avoid at all cost if need to park your car there. 4 x cars overnight robbed, CCTV poor and reception not interested as says happen all the time. Asked if owners of cars informed and said no as too early to wake them up (9.30am) 🤷🏼‍♂️ They need to invest in CCTV and Security until done. What a shame for 4 car owners.

Had a wonderful stay, the lady on reception Kirsty was amazing, a credit to the hotel! All close amenities! Will definitely stay again

I really enjoyed my stay at castle bromwhich travelodge ,my room was quiet and cosy it was spotless alot of space the staff are very friendly in particular kirsty and Jayne I needed an extra blanket,iron a charger they both helped me straight away with anything I needed I recommend anyone staying here 😊

We arrived after a day of visiting family so we just wanted to relax, watch a bit of TV then a good night's sleep before driving home the following morning. 12.15 we were abruptly woken by the people in 203 kid screaming, the parents were talking loudly and to be honest it sounded as if they were deliberately throwing things against the wall. I went to reception and asked the elderly lady dying of cold to politely ask them to keep the noise down. After she had made it abundantly clear it was 204 (our room) the occupants agreed that they would be quiet. So in true fashion they turned the telly up to drown the noise of the child. So at 1.20am we decided to leave and come home. As we made our way to reception another female patron who was drunk was shouting Hello my wife asked her to wind it down as other people were sleeping to which violent threats were made towards my wife. This was to a level where the lone elderly staff member locked herself into the reception office. The other issues were as follows Shower either faulty or plumbed in upside down so the temperature went up and down The heater was on full blast but the room was freezing Both usb sockets faulty Old mattress, dipped in the middle Dusty room Generally a poor excuse for a room. For an upgrade/ refurb room it still has the ancient TV. I've stayed in many Travelodge rooms up and down the country and I originally thought Bath Central was the worst but in my opinion Castle Bromwich is the worst ever. I don't see how it's acceptable to have a lady of senior years run a hotel on her own at night where it is obvious that this is a "troublesome branch"

Room stunk of cigarette smoke, no body wash in shower. From 11pm to 3am constant banging next door and through out hotel from feral guests The receptionist woman are lovely, they deserve better than here customer service over phone are terrible
