St Elmo Hotel

Fantastic place, situated near south pier, the gentleman that runs this hotel is very helpful and his manners are just perfect. Would recommend a stay here.

The whole place needs a deep clean, no hot water, room cold, paid for a superior room, if room 305 was the superior I would have hated to have stayed in a normal room. No lamp, hairdryer kept stopping due to overheating pat tested in 2023. Beds were the most uncomfortable beds ever slept on like lying on concrete with the bed springs sticking in every part of your body, my daughters bed sunk to one side not fit for purpose this needs binning as it was ridiculous and the springs made a racket when you sat on the bed, she was afraid to turn over in bed because of the noise. Filthy carpet, Window and windowsill very dirty. 1 positive was that us was near the pleasure beach and that was the main focus of our stay.

This has got to be hands down the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. 20+ of us stayed here, on arrival no one about to check us in, waited 30 minutes to be greeted by a woman who handed out all our room keys out of a plastic carrier bag. Went to our room and omg I've attached pictures as I've literally not seen anything like this, it was absolutely disgusting. I went and complained she gave me multiple choices of rooms and let me pick the one that suited us, was the best of a bad bunch but was a bit cleaner than the last, we thought well it's only for 1 night. Rooms are not professionally cleaned at all it's just 1 woman trying to do everything herself. Honest review is scroll on from this hotel I know it's cheap but if it was for more than 1 night and I wasn't on a hen night I would have walked straight back out. There is no bar and no dining area either.
