Hotel Servigroup Nereo

Review of Hotel Nereo Never been here before so I hope this helps people with their choices. Arrived off an early flight and our room wasn’t ready but as I say early flight so this was expected. However, the reception staff were really nice and gave us a place to store our bags and a key card to use for the facilities, toilets, pool etc. We only had to wait just over an hour and we were given a room on the 7th floor with a partial sea view out to Peacock Island. The 3 Lifts were clean as were the common areas. The room we had was a twin room and the beds are very comfortable. The room itself is compact but has the usual features, TV, safe which is free of charge and a fridge. Storage is at a bit of a premium but adequate. There are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room so if you’re like me and enjoys a cuppa first thing take a travel kettle, we used the plug in the bathroom. The balcony we had was a great size and a wonderful sun trap. The bathroom is a good size with a large walk in shower. The hotel provide an anti slip mat for the shower even though it has a textured base. The towels were luxurious and a great size. The housekeeping staff are really pleasant, they make sure they say hello every time they see you. Food in the hotel is great, good choice and they have show cooking as well. They don’t lay out a lot of food at one time but they do replenish the food regularly. The pool is heated, the area around the pool has lots of sunbeds, there is also a solarium area accessed by a lift and this was a great suntrap. The bar can be accessed from the pool area. There are toilets at the pool area also. All access to private areas within the hotel, the pool, toilets etc are controlled by your room key. The only downside if you can call it that is how regimented everything is, everything is laid out in straight lines and at night there is no ambiance in the bar, the lighting is always very bright. I’m not saying its a bad thing it’s just how it felt for me. They do have entertainment in the bar nightly, not the full on ***** stuff but nice background entertainment, I did feel a little sorry for the entertainers as they competing against fiesta week but I’m sure during normal, if any weeks can be normal in Benidorm,  it would have been well attended. On the whole I would say the hotel gets a 4.5 out of 5. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our stay a pleasurable experience and would I recommend this hotel, absolutely.  Hope this helps.

Great hotel rooms brilliant can't fault only gripe is the dinning room manager was really not nice just rushing everyone along and pushing the tip tray in front on leaving and pushing the waiting staff beyond belief food excellent can't fault

Just had another great stay at nereo Karen checked us in and was very friendly as usual, stayed in 205 facing pool room lovely and clean , mancillo in bar is just the best brings your drinks to the table and always has a smile he remembered us from last year it’s a shame he goes to another hotel and comes back later in the year , he’s our favourite , the dining staff were friendly and kept our table tidy I missed montes this time , and the entertainment in the bar was good I love watching the Spanish get up dancing they know how to enjoy themselves, Gina was good the bar was packed when she was on hopefully will be back again soon really enjoyed ourselves

We are a group of older men who go to Benidorm every March. We stayed in Hotel Nereo last year and had a great time and this year was just as great. Everywhere you go in the hotel, it is spotlessly clean and the cleaning staff work tirelessly to make it gleam. All the staff work very hard to make sure you have a great stay. We book pool view rooms which are a bit more expensive but you get a view of the sea from your balcony. The rooms are a good size with a fridge and a free safe and the bathroom and shower are perfect. The reception is always manned and Karen and her team are experienced in helping you if you have any problems or need advice. The bar and lounge staff are friendly and funny and really make you feel at home. Mansilla always had a smile on his face and with Jose and Anna, really looked after us well. The quality and choice of the food in the restaurant was excellent and Juan, Melanie and Gabriela were friendly and attentive. We wished Juan a happy retirement as he finishes on Easter Sunday. We will be booking for next year in the next few days, as far as we are concerned the service we receive at Hotel Nereo cannot be equalled.

Just returned from a week at Nereo Hotel. Location brilliant, food lovely, staff friendly, enjoyed a few dips in the outdoor heated pool, shower fantastic, beds comfy, large balcony, free safe, could have done with air conditioning as room was very hot, had to leave patio doors open which didn’t help very much with temperature of room

Stayed here for one week with my husband in February. Took a long time to persuade him to go to Benidorm, neither of us had been. On checking in the receptionist said "there's something for everyone in Benidorm" and I think that's very true. Hotel lovely, food great, staff friendly, close to the beach but too close to the "*****". If the hotel was in the Old Town I'd stay again in a heartbeat.

Great everything. Room was lovely, cleaners great. Breakfast so much choice. Only had 2 evening meals but lots of choice and very nice. If you buy a drink in bar you can’t take it into restaurant tho Entertainment was ok as well. Small pool but lots of sun beds

Presently staying at this hotel. Find it absolutely fantastic so much so i feel i want to give a review sooner. My biggest review is to the head of the catering team. He and his staff have been so welcoming and caring as i have needed celiac diet. Decent choice of food for breakfast and dinner. Fabulous. All the staff, bar reception and cleaning staff so friendly and welcoming. The rooms are spotless and the corridors fresh and clean. And i love the pink sparkly sink basins! Beds are comfortable. Air con been great as its been chilly at nights. Good choice of english speaking tv channels. Location is perfect. Lots of shops qnd indoor market across street. Short walk to the beach promenade. And eateries all around (24 hour cafe/takeaway 2 mins away) KFC a minute up st and mcdonalds and burger king on way to beach. Pool area is nice too. Coffee here is lovely. Im used to doing self catering breaks so if i was to have any thing dissapointing, its that of not having a kettle in room. I have to wait till 8am to get my wake up coffee . All in all i think this hotel is great. Food, staff and location. X

Just back from 2 weeks in benidorm at the hotel Hotel Servigroup Nereo the hotel is very clean had very good time all staff were very helpful and cheerful rooms were vere clean and cleaning staff did very good job to keep that way resturant staff very helpful we are in our 70s and they were very helpful room had fridge safe tv all free to use shower with lots of hot water lots of shop nere by. food ok and plentiful
