21 on Coetzee Guest House

I really could not find anything wrong with my room and my stay at 21 On Coetzee Guest house. The communication about my bookings and any changes were communicated with me on time. The room was clean and spacious. We felt safe in the yard.

We had such a lovely stay and were given such a sympathetic welcome when we arrived tired and my husband needed immediate first aid after a fall. Wonderful breakfast, quiet and convenient surroundings and comfortable bed. Thanks from us both - Rosie and John
Lemon & Lime Guesthouse

We reserved the family room, expecting to find at least double beds to accommodate our needs. It seems unreasonable to book a room designated for families and then be required to pay for two separate rooms if you need an extra bed instead of a sleeper couch. A family room should ideally cater to the needs of at least five individuals. My son participated in a tennis tournament and required adequate rest during our stay. To ensure his comfort, I allowed him to share the bed with my husband while I made do with the uncomfortable sleeper couch. Unfortunately, the family room was too compact, and the furniture and kitchen did not meet standard expectations. Additionally, the breakfast provided was subpar. If takeaway options are available due to our early departures each morning, it would be appreciated if dietary preferences were considered. For instance, I avoid sweets and white bread, leaving me with limited choices. A plain Cheese sandwich can hardly pass as an adequate breakfast! As an employee of CUT, I chose your guest house based on a colleague's recommendation. However, my experience fell short of expectations, leaving me very disappointed.
Protea Hotel Bloemfontein Willow Lake

Good quality business hotel. Very clean overall, attractive decor, good lighting. But no bar fridge in room, and small desk. There is a small boardroom on the first floor. Rooms small and rather a squash for two people. Bathroom part of the room itself with separate, private toilet. Breakfast above average. Service overall a bit slow. Location very good for CBD and SCA. Reasonably priced. R1800 per night per room, breakfast an extra R215 pp.
Victorian Lodge

My purpose of visiting Bloemfontein cost to participate in a half marathon. Í visit and stay at many places as it forms part of my 2feet4tb initiative. I stayed at the Victorian Lodge. I was blown away by the way I was treated throughout. To be allowed a late departure after a race meant so much to me. I'll definitely go back there when I'm up there again.

Great place to stay. Friendly staff and management. Close to shops and restaurants. Safe under shade parking. Great security around premises and in room. Management are more than willing to accommodate any requests. Will certainly visit again. Highly recommendable
