Cascades Inn

We have stayed here many of times and really enjoyed it. Very friendly people.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast and coffee were very good. Would stay again.

The room was spotless clean, the beds were comfortable and the sheets and towels were luxurious.The staff was very helpful, the rooms are pretty basic but you can't beat the price for the quality.

Staff was amazing, room was spotless, and close to our daughter’s dorm at IU. Great all around stay and will use anytime we head down to Bloomington

The rooms have been renovated and are very nice. They have most comfortable bed & bedding. The mattress is so comfortable & the sheets are very soft and thick. The bath towels are super thick & soft, too. They provided us with shampoo, conditioner, bath soap & lotion, as well as glass drinking glasses & coffee mugs, in addition to paper to-go coffee cups. The front desk staff is awesome. I was concerned about the high deposit, but they waived charging it because I assured them I'm a great customer who would never destroy their property, plus I had called a couple of times a few days before our stay and told them I chose their hotel solely because of all the great reviews they have online. I will stay at Cascades every time I'm in Bloomington from now on. They even had a live band in the lounge/restaurant. I didn't see a single bug either.

Staff were very friendly, breakfast was decent for the price of a room, and decent room size. However it wasn't very clean

The pictures here on ******* are bordering on false advertising. They are of the same property, sure, but they were clearly taken during the motels heyday, which isn't now. The staff were very personable, but they hadn't bothered to shovel the snow out of the parking lot, so there were limited spaces. The walls were paper thin. I could hear our neighbors fighting, and then the next night it sounded as if there was a singing competition going on. The bathtub was stained with rust and the water never fully stopped dripping. How this property has such a high rating here is completely unfathomable.
