Breakfast was delicious. Spacious and comfortable room however if your room looks onto the street it’s better to use earplugs at night when you go to sleep. The courtyard of the hotel is a good common area to relax if you want or you can relax in your room which was satisfying.

The hotel is really well located in the historical centre of Bogota. Perfectly close to everything and some lovely cafes and restaurants around the hotel. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was good. However, the hotel is on a very busy road. The room we stayed in was on the front facing the road and had no sound proofing with only single glazed windows. This meant we heard everything day and night, the ear plugs I brought did not help. Other rooms along the front had some double glazed doors in front of the windows to help with the noise, this room did not. Be aware when you check in - and avoid room 12!

We're here for four nights at the start of our group tour. Excellent small, hotel in an historic building. Great staff and excellent breakfast. The location is brilliant for the many restaurants in this area and for sightseeing. Loved our stay.

If you are looking to explore the La Candelaria area of Bogota then this hotel is definitely a good option. It's close to all the major sites, such as the Botero museum. The staff were attentive and the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also nice.

The hotel is idealy situated in the heart of the historic centre and close to the other touristic highlights, restaurants. It's located in an old charming house. It's a cosy small hotel, people are great, helpfull, english speaking and the breakfast is excellent. Everything was clean, spacious rooms. The only thing I don't like are the electric showers, especially when you see the taped wires. It gives me a bad feeling. But I would go back, price quality was very high and especially the overall quality and people.

We arrived from La Paz at 6am and we left Bogotá at 11:30pm therefore we had to book two nights in this hotel in order to have breakfast and get some sleep. The hotel is centrally located but the wooden floor in the room was broken in many parts. Breakfast was decent. However when after 2pm till we left, the running water was cutoff and we could flush toilets. The host, although communicative, didn’t not resolve the issue promptly and we had to ask repetitively for a bucket of water.

A lovely old house in the La Candelaria district of Bogota. We had a room at the back overlooking a courtyard and despite the hotel being in a very busy location there was no noise at night. The location is excellent for restaurants and sights. The breakfast of fruit and eggs was good. When we arrived my husband had chipped a tooth and the receptionist phoned a local dentist and arranged for him to be seen. All in all an excellent place to stay in Bogota.

It's a comfortable hotel near the La Candelaria area, it has great beds and excellent staff members who are very helpful. It's a basic hotel, so don't expect a 5 star service. My only problem was the floor which made a lot of noise due to the old parket/wood floor. Extra tip: if you are too sensitive to street noise, inform the front desk and they will offer you a bedroom not facing the street. As for me noise is not s problem I had wonderful Montserrat view during Christmas and a nice balcony facing streets.

If I could give 10 stars I would. The staff is sooo friendly and the hotel really beautiful! And so is the neighborhood. There are a lot little, nice streets around. Thanks a lot, we hat a really nice stay!

I loved my multiple stays at this hotel during my visit to Colombia. It’s a beautiful building in a perfect location in La Candelaria. The rooms are great and include a safe. A good breakfast is served every morning. Particular thanks to Alfredo and Gabriel for all their service and for always wanting to help – they are such a friendly team. Gran servicio! Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bogota.

We chose this hotel for its excellent location in La Candelaria. A small, modest but charming facility with wonderful service. We highly recommend it! The rooms have few amenities, but the price is great, so you can't complain.

Es un hotel muy bonito, muy céntrico en el casco antiguo. El personal y el dueño son majísimos y resolutivos. En resumen recomiendo este hotel. Las habitaciones están totalmente reformadas. Son sencillas pero limpias y silenciosas. En resumen, muy recomendable. La ubicación es excelente.

Très bel hôtel colonial très bien rénové. Magnifiques parquets, escaliers et patio. C'est très beau et l'accueil est excellent. Les chambres, grandes, donnent sur ce patio. Bonne literie. Hôtel très bien situé dans La Candelaria : tout est à proximité. Seul petit "soucis" : il peut faire froid la nuit à Bogota et il n'y a pas de chauffage dans la salle-de-bain (c'est comme ça partout).

Sfeervol comfortabel hotel in een oud koloniaal gebouw midden in het historische centrum van Bogotá. Het hotel lig op loopafstand van alle toeristische bezienswaardigheden diverse restaurant en winkeltjes. Bijna overal in de wereld kan je in de grotere steden in een op zich prima modern hotel van een grote keten zitten. Vaak prima en handig, alleen niet zo sfeervol Leuker is om een lokaal familie hotel te nemen dat de sfeer van het land /region/streek heeft. Het hotel moet uiteraard wel comfortabel zijn. La Case de Vega is zo'n sfeervol familiehotel. Fijne comfortabele schone kamers met hoog plafond. Lekker liggende bedden. Prima badkamer met toilet, wastafel en prima inloopdouche. Voldoende waterdruk en warm water, schone handdoeken en douchegel. Gebouw is wel redelijk gehorig (o.a. door de houten vloeren) en ligt naast een drukke weg. De kamers aan de straatzijde hebben extra deuren tegen het straatgeluid die gedeeltelijk helpen. Ben je echt een hele lichte slaaper, dan wellicht toch iets anders zoeken. De kamer die we een aantal dagen, bij terugkomst Bogotá op weg naar Salento hadden, lag aan de patio en was beduidend rustiger. Wij hebben hier twee en later nog één prima nachten heerlijk geslapen en zouden hier in de foekomst zo weer boeken. Personeel is heel lief en behulpzaam. Je voelt je gelijk thuis. WIFI werkt snel en de televisie heeft meer zenders dan je kan tellen. Ontbijt goed. Koffie (lekker), vers fruitsap en vers fruit. Toast met ei en jam. Typisch wat je in Zuid Amerika en Colombia krijgt als ontbijt.
