City Express Junior by Marriott Bogota Aeropuerto

Location is the only way from the airport to the city, the service facilities are very good. The only drawback is that the hotel is located in the suburbs, so there are fewer surrounding facilities, such as no place to buy a local mobile phone card

This hotel and staff were the most kind, courteous, helpful, clean and family oriented - I mean they make you feel like family! I have spent many nights in hotels because of my line of business in real estate and I have NEVER loved a hotel experience like my ten days at this hotel. I never write reviews, good or bad. You cannot go wrong here. Tourists will understand when I say that feeling safe is a must, especially in another country. In the room there was a personalized safe to keep your valuables secure and the staff NEVER enter your room unless directed by guests. The rooms are spotless and fresh smelling, the staff is the hardest working, going beyond with every request - completely and always. This hotel was also the cleanest and best stocked with any amenity needed. My partner and I enjoyed the sanitized saunas, jacuzzis and gym - permitting us to create special long lasting memories! Come to Bogota and stay at this hotel; you will thank me. <3 We hope to stay here again, very soon. Special thanks and regards to Karen, Juan Carlos, Diego (all amazing hotel staff) and Orlando (our hotel shuttle driver). You are the best (you killed it) and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Siempre tuyo ~Patti xoxoxoxoxo

Some of the staff was very professional and friendly. Unfortunately, other staff was quite rude. For example, when I asked the gentleman at the front desk to copy my vaccine cards, he practically snatched them out of my hands without saying a word. After handing me my copies, he began to walk away while my cards were still sitting in the copy machine. I politely asked for ”mis tarjetas, por favor.” He walked back over, still silent, and I said simply, ”Esos son importantes.” He chuckled under his breath but still said nothing as he handed the cards back. It was as if he simply had no interest in bothering with them unless I asked. Then, after I paid for the copies, he went to look for my change (1,000 pesos). He then told me in an irritated tone that they didn't have any change. I simply said, ”No es importante.” Throughout the whole interaction, he acted very rushed and inconvenienced, as if I was imposing on him, and he never offered the slightest apology for forgetting my vaccine cards or not having any change. (They were not busy at the time; there were two people working behind the counter and no other guests in line. At least the other fellow was professional, unlike his colleague.) I'm aware that my Spanish is still at an intermediate level; however, if you're going to work in the hotel industry (down the street from the airport, in a capital city, no less), the least you could do is show some courtesy to your guests. (We don't have to speak Spanish to pick up on your passive aggressiveness.) Also, when I arrived there were no towels in the room. It took three requests over about 35-40 minutes to get some. Everyone I talked to seemed very professional and intent on taking care of it, but somehow no one delivered until the third attempt. It was surprising, actually, because the room was immaculate and perfectly made up, except for having no towels of any kind. I enjoyed my dinner a lot, and the lady who waited on me was gracious and patient when conversing with me in Spanish. The restaurant took a few minutes to find, as there are two buildings, each with their own lobby, and the fellow at reception who checked me in didn't mention anything about the restaurant.

Dirty bathroom, hair in the shower, damaged furniture. Dirty looking stained walls. No hand and foot towels, just one large towel. They placed the little that was left of 2 rolls of toilet paper, which made one want to give one to the hotel. Poor quality television signal. The reception service on the night of December 12, AWFUL. In the corridor and adjoining rooms other guests made a huge noise; even yelling profanities and obscenities. When calling the reception they hung up the phone and did not answer. Being after midnight, the lady finally attended me, with the excuse that the signal was bothering me. You could clearly hear her picking up the speaker and hanging up every time she was called. I went for a business trip as I had to catch a flight the next day. I spent the night almost awake. I asked for the invoice and they told me that they would send it to me by email. I'm still waiting for her.

Breakfast is ok, fruits are relatively fresh. You can call a taxi at the front desk to go anywhere. The experience is good, friends who go to Bogota can try

This is the best Marriott property that I have stayed in ever. We were pampered from breakfast to dinner. Mayte at the Pimiento Restaurant, set the tone for during our 5 day stay. Her smile and energy in her greeting, her willingness to make sure that you are satisfied is exceptional and unique. When she wasn't around Jessica took the baton and provided the same exceptional service. Yes, the Concierge Lounge is closed, but what you receive at the Pimiento Restaurant is unheard of, provided that you have the benefit. The hotel may not be in the 'chic' part of town, but is super convenient to the center and Candelaria area. Ubers are super inexpensive and reliable. You can also use the transportation services offered by the hotel , also at reasonable rates. There are good shopping centers near by - La Gran Estacion and Salitre, that have great shopping and many good restaurants. I, for one would not want to test another hotel knowing what a special and unique place this is and would stay here again without hesitation. Thanks to Mayte and Jessica, along with her team. PS - I needed to park my rental and was not nickel and dime for the fee of the parking which is included.
