Renting a car in Paris for an hour and a half to Fontainebleau, the hotel is still a little away from the Fontainebleau Palace. It is a budget hotel. We stayed for our sons graduation from ISEAD. Key code for the room is on the email you get. The rooms are spartan but clean and well maintained. Beds were very comfortable if you like them firm. No kettles in the room. Shower in bathroom. Clean towels after two days. Microwave in foyer and coin operated vending machines. Guidance Pizza Pizza next to the Indian Restaurant is excellent and good value. There is a large supermarket just a little toward the town centre. The No 1 bus takes you into the centre otherwise it is a thirty minute walk. In the centre of town near the Carousel a large roundabout there are lot as of places to eat. The trains to Paris cost 5 Euros from a machine outside the station and take 50 minutes.
