Room very clean, service ok, bar good, food good but breakfast on cold plates which is common complain of ours. Hotel not full so was not noisy, no kids or drunks running around.

Leon served me tonight. He was very very helpful and friendly. It can be lonely being an hotel on your own. He made me feel welcome at the bar and I got crisps and pizza all because he tempted me into buying them Really friendly lad. Travelodge needs more people like Leon

Very high quality of service by friendly people. I've been very low in my own home with all sorts of problems. Anyway my hot water tank leaked, I stopped the flood but I was without water until a plumber comes. My stay here is a well earned rest, the reception guy was chatty and professional. Patri in the kitchen served my food, it was a credit to her and reminded me of my mums great cooking all those years ago. I told her when she kindly asked. It's been more like a revelation into how good hotel stay can be. Wonderful personable people who take a pride in what they do. A stay like this would normally feel a luxury for a guy with modest resources but this has been worth every penny.

Booked last minute as I had theatre tickets in Bolton. It’s easy to find straight off the motorway. The staff are great and first impressions are also good. The bar looked nice too. Unfortunately the room was a bit of a disappointment, there were a couple of light bulbs not working, and numerous unsavoury looking stains on the carpet. But the worst thing was the shower, luke warm at best and without enough pressure to get washed effectively. It spoiled my evening slightly as it was an unpleasant experience before going out. I decided to leave early the next morning rather than face the ordeal again. Had a nice warm shower at home. Other things… the bed was comfy and clean, but the tv was tiny. There was a little bit of street noise but nothing too major.
