Great hotel, great staff, nice breakfast, highly recommended for holiday travel

Great location, nice beer garden

The old facilities make it very uncomfortable for people with weak constitutions to live in. They feel that there are unclean things in the room, especially the bathroom, and they dare not stay in it alone.

The hotel is located on the Rhine promenade with spectacular views of the Petersberg, Drachenburg and Drachfels. This hotel has a lot of history, being one of Adolf Hitler's favourites, who stayed here more than 60 times and negotiated with England the cession of the Sudetenland. The breakfast is very good and the rooms are all renovated.

If you want to find a quiet place by the Rhine River, this is a good choice. Excellent location, complete facilities, clean and comfortable rooms. Surrounded by high-end residential areas, more living conditions, there are good cafes and restaurants for people to relax.

Also zum Thema Personal kann ich nichts Negatives sagen. Die waren alle sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich, zum Hotel an sich allerdings schon. Die Bilder zeigen die schöne prominente Lage direkt am Rhein. Da freut man sich doch auf das aufstehen… Leider hatte ich wie man auf den Bildern sehen kann ein Zimmer Richtung Innenseite, was wirklich alles andere als schön war, das Zimmer war schmutzig und meiner Meinung nach seit den achtziger Jahren nicht mehr renoviert worden, Flecken auf dem Boden, Das Bad und der Gesamteindruck des Zimmers wirkt eher nach Hostel oder Jugendherberge. Einfaches Holz einfache Möbel nicht wirklich geil. Klimaanlage ebenfalls Fehlanzeige. Stattdessen ein billiger Ventilator aus dem Discounter, eine Flasche Wasser zur Begrüßung wäre auch zu empfehlen. Auf der Matratze habe ich tatsächlich ganz gut geschlafen. Im Aufzug ist Teppich an der Wand… Das hab ich zum letzten Mal in den Siebzigern irgendwo gesehen… Zusammenfassend, ich werde vermutlich nicht mehr hier schlafen, aber ich verstehe das einfach nicht… Das ist so ein schönes Haus, so eine tolle Lage, richtig Potenzial… Warum macht man das nicht geil?

Gute Lage direkt am Rhein. Keine Klimaanlage im Zimmer, stattdessen ein Ventilator. Die Ausstattung ist nicht mehr zeitgemäß.
