Acora Bonn Living the City Reviews

The hotel "Acora Bonn - Living the City" is a top-class hotel, something completely different to the conventional hotels that one is usually used to. The lettering on the building's facade reads: Acora - Hotel and Living. "We have never seen a hotel like this before... This hotel complex with three floors is comparable to a housing estate, where the entire residential area consists of family houses. Here in the Acora Hotel you can go on a short vacation like we did, or stay for a longer period of time. Assembly workers seem to live here for a long time... We only met young people here... For us, the vacationers, bed and breakfast is offered, which was enough for us. There is an underground car park and costs €4 a day. The district where the hotel is located is called Bonn-Tannenbusch and is about 4 kilometers from Bonn city center. The motorway access is not far from the hotel... There is also the Bonn-Tannenbusch subway station. So the hotel is actually centrally located. We were satisfied with the service offered here. The only drawback is that there is no elevator in this building complex. We were satisfied guests. The room, breakfast, service and price were good. The only problem for us was the lack of an elevator. Three floors with luggage was too strenuous for me. So we probably won't be coming back... If you don't mind the lack of an elevator, the Arcora Hotel is a reasonably priced alternative to the expensive hotel prices in Bonn. What I found very good was the double handrail in the stairwell, on both sides of the stairs up and down, which was on the banister and on the wall. Young people might not appreciate this, but we older people found this device very useful and helpful...
