Aira Boracay Hotel

The room was okay, but it had a musty smell because it hadn't been used for a while, but the smell disappeared by the second day. Also, there were many small cockroaches in the toilet drain, but flushing them away solved the problem.

The staff were very polite and helpful! The hot water in the shower only came out during the day and evening, and was cold in the morning and evening. 😅 I told the staff about it, but they just told me to leave it running for about 30 minutes, but it didn't seem to fix the problem. The location is about a 15-minute walk from Stations 1, 2, and 3, but it was nice and quiet!

Solid three*! For this money by local standards. Sparsely populated on New Year's Eve and early January. The location on Bulabog Beach is not popular (popular for kiters. The beach is not for swimming, but you are not prohibited). This is the last multi-storey hotel on Bulabog to the north, further on there are only villas and it is more difficult to get to. White Beach is within walking distance; it takes 5 minutes to cross this narrowest section of the island on foot. The street is not lit at night and is full of dogs that graze in a pile of dumped garbage at night, and bark outside the beach area during the day from idleness. But safe. There are no noisy cafes with music nearby, there are none at all. So this is a hotel for a smart holiday: have fun at the stations, and go home and relax on the quiet Bulabog. The Internet is fast, the password for all routers was aira2023. Room without animals and insects (other hotels complained). There's no half-cut rooster crowing in your ear, no cars or loud mopedists driving by, it's a thrill. Security is in order, I somehow left the safe wide open (with cash, wallet, all cards, passport), after cleaning everything was intact and untouched, thank you! The safe was not closed because... it was a little buggy: the electronic lock does not close again for some time, you have to wait about 5 minutes. There is no pool and the lounge area on the fifth floor is useless. There are plastic chairs and a jacuzzi, the dryness of which is unclear, maybe it’s not working at all. The room is cleaned only on call: put a cleaning label on the door and leave the room before 11, otherwise no one will see. As a result, in 10 nights I was only cleaned twice. You leave a deposit of 1000 pesos upon check-in. You will have to pay for a minibar in the refrigerator upon departure, the price tag is outrageous, like in clubs (soda for 100, beer for 150 pesos). She offered to give change in a kilogram of coins, which is why the tourist usually refuses, but the cunning hotel remains in the black. Overall a great holiday! But for seals. Boracay is not for young people, but it’s stupid to relax on the very beautiful beaches. The food is very bad. The choice is huge, any cuisine of the world, but the quality of vegetables and fruits is very poor. Even the fish is always too dry and tasteless. It is difficult to recommend anything for establishments.
