The studio size is fine, but it was dirty and utilities are very old. The floor was really dirty too, as if the studio would have been closed for a month and they wouldn't have kept it clean.
There was a intense tobacco smell in the whole building, including all corridors, the room and the elevator.
On a positive:
- note they accept pets in the room for a small addition to the price (like 6eur/pet). We were travelling with two dogs and they were fine.
- the bed was very comfortable.
- WiFi works well.
It is true there is parking outside, but it is just public parking spots. The area is very isolated and it is simply parking spots in the street. It is like an industrial area, very quite in the night.
There are notes in the main door saying that there have been some issues with the cars outside during summer. We asked the person in the reception and indeed she mentioned that a few months ago someone broke into some cars. This made us feel very uncomfortable for obvious reasons until we left the following morning.
The place is just ok. There is nothing around. Just a good spot if you need to stop in between A and B, but I would recommend checking first other areas in Bordeaux.
