Breakfast buffet was good. Everything is there, including croissants, yoghurt, scrambled eggs and bacon. Rooms are fine and spacious. We stayed on the ground floor and had a seat by the front door (unfortunately we didn't use it because of the weather). Beds are good; therefore we slept well. Our room had a bath, but we didn't use it. The shower was fine. The extras in the room made the stay extra pleasant: ability to make coffee and tea. Every day the coffee and tea was replenished and there were clean cups. And the fridge in the room was a outcome to be able to keep some food cool! Some improvement tips for the hotel: Here and there we found a hair in the bathroom that could not be ours (...). And a little table or something to put the toilet bags on would have been handy. Now they we had to place them on the floor. WiFi was regularly dropped. Therefore we sometimes had no connection at all with the 'outside world'; also because the region is poorly covered with 4G due to the nearby radio observatory of Westerbork, which need to be free of any radio waves.

Located in the center of the small city of ASSEN, it is close to the train station, and it is convenient to enter and exit; because it is late, it does not feel the excitement of this city center. The front desk is in the corner of the restaurant downstairs, saying that it is because of the renovation; when the elevator is upstairs, the elevator is a manual file, you must always let go to your floor. The room was short and crowded, but the decoration was a bit special; there was a wall-mounted air conditioner that was always on, blowing out a bit of sour cold wind, I pulled it out; but the floor heating facilities in the bathroom were still warm.

The hotel room (2nd floor) was good. New hotel and the rooms were tastefully furnished. The halls were also beautifully yellow colours. The bathroom was large with a beautiful indoor shower, but was very nice clothes. The room was very cool, the bathroom was very chill. The beds were really good, lovely sleeping. But the rooms are quite aware. The location is, of course, perfect! In the centre, in front of the entrance of the zoo. The hotel has a large (unexpensive) parking garage. We have not taken breakfast, € 16.50 € per person we really find too expensive for the amount we eat.
