Quayside Hotel & Bar

Arrived super late was greeted by the owners of the hotel, polite and courteous. Quick explanation and I was given my key. The room was clean and comfortable with beverages provided. The hotel itself was quite trendy and upto date. Slight mishap with the shower which was quickly resolved, service with a smile.

We often order takeaway from the quayside hotel The food is very good but the service is poor The restaurant switches order system when it is suitable for them despite operating hours are defined This makes planning dinner extremely difficult

Overnight stay, single room on the 1st floor , the place has been tastefully refurbished to a nice spec , the room I was in was ok had everything I needed the remote was missing when I arrived but on accidentally bumping in to the owner in the bar he could not do more for getting me a replacement and brought me a beer spot on, continental breakfast in the morning which made a change to be fair , overall very welcoming , good parking , very clean lovely staff a nice place to stay give it a try

I stayed in the Double room-Luxury-Ensuite. Lovely room and loved the bathroom/LED lights. Tv nice size, loved that I could login to my Netflix to watch on the tv! Bed comfy one side soft one side abit harder so can choose which you prefer. Had all facilities like fridge kettle etc and biscuits 😋. Treated myself to sausage and mash from restaurant but had it in my room was so nice was only £9.5. Highly recommend. Staff very friendly. Not much noise in the room but can hear people walking upstairs but rarely. Only thing is if someone is in corridor and they are talking, can hear them like there is no door there. But only got this once and slept very well😊 Would be nice if breakfast started abit earlier like 06:30 for those with early starts. Overall lovely stay and will be coming back

Just got back from staying here and was pleasantly surprised. There was first of all plenty of parking on the road and in the carpark The room was nice and large with and an adequate sized bathroom on the top floor with comfortable beds and a large tv The breakfast was continental with an adequate selection What suprised me most was how good the food was in the evening and ate there both nights Finally the staff could not of been more pleasant Will definitely stay there again if ever back in Boston

Had boooked a two night stay. First morning the drains in the bathroom had frozen. Hand basin water started to appear in the shower tray and then waste shower water filled up the bath. Then shower tray flooded and leaked onto the bathroom floor. Required a plumber while we out that day. Bedroom dressing table did not have any power sockets nearby. Nearest was over 12ft away. Kettle had to plug in by the bed headboard. Asked and received an extension lead. (You need to install more sockets in room 10.) Food was very good. Bar was comfortable and well stocked. Staff very helpful.

Rip off merchants,I went to a familly funeral in Boston and because of travelling distances I intended to stay the night.I booked my stay through the ******* website and paid in full and the booking was non refundable. I had to return home immediately after the service due to unforseen circumstances and did not go to the hotel. The following day I received an invoice which was more than the advertised price. I emailed the hotel who as of now have not responded . I contacted ******* through my account on the internet ,I could not speak to anyone on the phone only via text the ******* representative said it was not there responsibility and to contact the hotel.,so I will not be using or recommending ******* to anyone. I did not phone the hotel as I wanted a paper trail .

Excellent property very nice food excellent portions at the right price very nice staff and service room very clean

This hotel is in an old fashioned building overlooking the part of the river where the local fishing fleet looks to be based. There is a smallish car park but plenty of on street parking available near to the hotel The room was bijou but they had made good use of the available, limited space. There was a fridge, kettle, hair dryer and fan provided. The room was clean. I had dinner in the restaurant at night which was excellent. The included self-service, continental breakfast was also very good with a wide selection of food available. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive A billboard advertised a nightly karaoke. If it took place on the night I was there I certainly did not notice it from my bedroom. There are excellent traditional fishmongers and butchers within a short, walking distance and an Antiques Emporium nearby. I thought this was excellent value for money and will be at the top of my list for my next stay in Boston
