Reviews of The Colonnade Hotel

The hotel's location is excellent. It's about a 10-minute walk from Back Bay Station; you just cross the street and follow your navigation. The room was clean and tidy. I asked for bottled water at the front desk and the staff were very friendly. However, the bathroom was a bit small, and the room door felt thin, so the soundproofing from the hallway wasn't great.

The Colonnade exceeded my expectations! We had a large, bright, modern, clean room. Location was excellent and staff very friendly and helpful. The free day time snacks and drinks were a nice added touch. I liked the decor in the lobby - port silly à cool place to hang out with comfortable sofas, fireplace etc. I’d definitely stay again

Best location to be in specially if visiting children in university. Room size is quiet big. They serve free coffe almost throughout the day with some snacks. Already stayed here 3 times. Find bery convenient. And close to everything. With good facilities

The location is excellent, right in the city center. Compared to other hotels in the same area that cost thousands, this one offers great value for money. Plus, the hotel is well-maintained. I'd definitely stay here again.

Overall a good experience for a pricey hotel in Boston. I think they are all quite expensive. Nice hotel and staff. Food and bar good. Liked the “free” tea/coffee, water and snacks, and rooftop pool and bar. I think that’s why they charge an amenity fee. No smoking at the rooftop pool/bar which was a pain. They should set aside a small corner for smokers as it’s outside after all.  I think the bathroom/shower facilities could be updated. The functioning of it seemed outdated and tricky to work. We only had a trickle of cold water coming out of our sink tap which was annoying. Overall though a good experience for our 3 nights in Boston.

The staff were very helpful and they upgraded us to a lovely spacious room with a fabulous view! The hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to the Pacific Mall, the museums, Newbury St.and many restaurants around. The Lucy Bar and Restaurant inside the hotel is excellent and the food was great! I recommend this hotel to everyone and will definitely stay there again.

Beautiful and clean hotel in a great location. Very close to the train station. Breakfast was a bit pricey. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Poor service, mediocre room cleanliness, and outdated environment.

The facilities are quite old; overall, it's just so-so.

I stayed here for the Boston Career Forum job hunting. I stayed for 4 nights, and the room was clean every day, I didn't hear other people's voices, and I was able to use the gym without it being too crowded. I was also grateful for the ducks in the bath as an amenity, which helped me relax after the stress of job hunting.

Great hotel, perfect location

There is not water every day. The concierge was very enthusiastic after I gave a tip. They helped me call a taxi, but the taxi was in very poor hygiene and drove very recklessly. They also asked for a 20% tip.

Overall it’s ok!
