Lakeside Fishing Lodges

Absolutely stunning location, stayed in a Dragonfly log cabin, terrific view, really nice warm feel, more than adequate facilities, the log fire was a lovely addition. As anglers of a few years, love a new challenge and weren't disappointed, caught some great mixed bags, with a fair few fish adequate in weight to make a good weight if it was a match. Their was some big fish moving around and probably zoo creatures showing as the weather warms up. Had a lovely feel about it, given the right opportunity, would return.

If reading this and thinking of booking then please don't hesitate! It's wonderful! You won't be disappointed we were blown away by everything. The cabin was the Dragonfly and was absolutely spot on so clean and spacious the log burner was so good and warmed up quickly. The cabin had everything you could want even down to a lighter and some matches to light the wood. The logs were nearby to help yourself too. The view to the lake was beautiful and it was so peaceful we had a visit from the ducks too on our decking. The bed was so comfortable and the linen was pristine. Really couldn't fault it 👌🏻 What a gem of a place ✨️

Excellent!!! By far the best lakeside fishing lodge I've been too. Sunflower 🌻 lodge had all we needed, very clean and comfortable with a great view of the lake off the veranda. We only fished with feeder rods with bandems using groundbait or 2mm pellets on a method feeder, we caught a good mix of fish carp, tench, roach, rudd and bream. Best place to fish near the house we didn't but see some big fish coming out that end. We found just as its getting light Fishing far margin from sunflower Lodge we caught our best fish 14lb common carp the best on a 10' feeder rod (30g weight) is fun to land. 12lb carp a couple of 10s lots of 7-8lb carp and loads of 3-5lb carp. Would totally recommend this place for fishermen who like to have 1st class accommodation not just make do because your a fishermen. The owners are really approachable and will guide you . We will be looking to book a return visit for later in the year or next year.

We have just returned from a 5 night stay in lavender lodge after staying in sunflower lodge in July. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Amy went above and beyond to help us and we are so thankful. Both times the lodges were extremely clean and very spacious. We had an amazing number of fish out all in good condition with a variety of species too. Overall an amazing trip and hopefully we can book in again soon.

We have just returned after a week stay at the pond. This is a return visit, as we loved it so much last time. The lavender lodge is just as lovely as the sunflower lodge. The owners are so friendly and very helpful. Although it was a bit cold we still caught a fair few fish. Amy was very happy to respond to any issues we had ASAP, and even checked in with us the following day. We will definitely be booking back here in the future. Such a peaceful atmosphere, good fishing and beautiful scenery. The town isn’t far from the pond and makes a good day out.

Just returned from a four night stay in Sunflower Lodge. This was a beautiful lodge, very clean and well equipped. My husband was pleased with fishing on the lake and caught about 50+ fish. This is our second visit to Lakeside and certainly won't be the last. A very relaxing enjoyable few days.

Lovely friendly quiet site. When did you stay05/2023 The site is situated between the market town of Boston and the seaside town of Skegness just off the A52. The site is gated and required a code to get in and out the site has CCTV. The site has fishing lakes and has statics caravans, pods, shepherd hut, log cabins and a tree house accommodation as well. The camping area is hard standing and water points are very close. There are showers, toilets and a pot washing area, chemical toilet dispose point. This site is quite and extremely lovely. Good for families however there is no park. Plenty of grass areas to play. Also pet friendly, we are a family of 6 and we fully enjoyed it the nearest pub is about 10mins walk and do food, Old leake shop, pub, fish and chip shop only 20min walk or 5mins in the car we definitely be returning. Definitely a 5* site.

From start to finish the owners where excellent and very friendly. The cabin we had was Butterfly which was very spacious and clean. The beds and linen were fresh and comfortable and Netflix was a welcome relax after a great day and nights fishing. I believe we caught all species of fish whilst we stayed and all fish wher in excellent condition. Fishing of the balcony was super and plenty of room w it’ll had 9 rods out at one point, I think we over did it but it was fun.

Amazing stay we had over a long weekend, what a great place to chill, relax and fish, The grounds, lodges and lakes are well kept to a great standard. Very impressed with the lodges which are a high spec with everything you need for a self catering stay, very comfy with nice log burners for that cosy evening touch. The fishing is fab, course and carp, we had many fish of different species, Tench, Carp, Barbell, Roach, Bream, Perch, Goldfish, Rudd, A great weekends leisure fishing. The owners are fantastic to deal with, communication spot on from the start. 2nd time here, defo going back again & again & again.....
