The Boho - 4 Min Walk to Beach & Town

The location is superb. The decor inside is a very eclectic and classic bohemian aesthetic. The room was clean and the mattress was incredible. The most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. The kitchen was well appointed, with a cozy deck with fairy lights, plants and Asian themed artistry. Extremely relaxing and staying there was the highlight of our weekend away. The host, Chanine was so friendly and she has incredible taste. The real fire in the living room was absolutely sublime. We will definitely be returning.

Stayed the night as a large group of family visited highly recommended Clean and the rooms are very spacious and not far from the beach

My wife and I hired out the whole Boho and the basement flat for a week to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. There were 21 of us across seven family units with eight under eights – and we fitted in easily. The location was excellent – both the town centre and the beach were easily walkable. We also hired a beach hut for the week, which made our times at the beach a lot better. There were one or two minor problems with the house – one or two doors not shutting, bumps and scratches that needed retouching, but this is understandable towards the end of the season. Chanine, the owner, was doing up a house two or three doors down and was very friendly and always available to help where possible. We would gladly return.

The area is not the best. I did not feel safe. There are run down houses/flats/bedsits. Nowhere to park. Be careful not to leave anything on show in your vehicle. The house on the surface looks ideal, however, the cracks began to show. The downstairs toilet is in the kitchen, it does NOT have a wash basin and you have to use the kitchen sink!! The kitchen is along one wall, with the sink, hob, microwave, kettle this leaves very little worktop to prepare food. The toaster was useless at browning. Our bedroom was ensuite with a 'Shower' that was quite frankly useless, not fit for purpose. There was no hot water, the shower head needs to be descaled. The the arm it sits on to adjust the height was not attached at the bottom so the shower was at an angle. The toilet seat had marks caused by the lid. The toilet brush was absolutely disgusting. I think you get the gist without me saying anything further. The mirrors in the bedroom were at odd heights, so much so it cuts your head off. putting on make up was challenging, kneeling on the floor. The top bunk in the room had a mirror at the head, why???? No bedside light, have to climb out bed to switch off. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room neither a fridge. Details need to be updated, unless they were removed prior to our arrival. On leaving your room for a morning/day we had to leave our bedroom door keys in the hallway. Again another bizarre instruction, any other guest could have access to your room. After leaving the property our group were accused of stealing 3 handtowels, one from the downstairs toilet ( see top of report) this apparently turned up. so 2 and a mark on the quilt cover. They could not confirm which room. We denied this charge and were told that hand towels and hairdryers go missing ! well if they went in and checked our room they would have found 2 hairdryers! We therefore had £45 deducted from our deposit. How many times has this happened? Please take pictures/ Video, do an inventory hopefully you will save yourself from being called thieves.

Stayed at The Boho for a Hen Weekend and was accused of theft upon leaving!! Accused of taking hand towels when they weren’t there in the first place, Chanine took the money out of our deposit without any evidence. We even highlighted there was no towel in one of the bathrooms on arrival. Location is 10 mins from the beach, however the area isn’t the nicest, as run down and nowhere to park.

The hotel was just perfect for all our needs. We were a group of 16 ladies celebrating a hen weekend. The hotel was lovely and spacious, clean and very cozy. Beautifully decorated. Just a 10 minute walk away from the town centre and beaches. Chanine is a wonderful host. She greeted us on arrival and made sure we had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Highly recommend this beautiful hotel.
