Southern Breeze Lodge - Adults Only

This is our second visit to this very nice B & B. Elizabeth and Noel are very good and friendly hosts where nothing is too much trouble which comes across with the extra niceties like home made cake in the room each day. We stayed in the Kingsize bedroom which was very comfortable with a nice Bay window. The cooked breakfasts are all freshly made with plenty on the plate and homemade jams plus various cold servings of cereals or fruit salads. The Southbourne sandy beach is just up the end of the road and is not as busy as Bournemouth beach itself. We will definitely return.

This is a truly lovely place. Hosts Elizabeth and Noel were both very kind and helpful. I had a double with bath/shower combo, which was seaside themed. Nice touches fresh milk for tea/coffee and cakes in the room. Breakfast had a huge choice of cold and cooked items and was beautifully cooked. The hotel is within walking distance from the zig zag path, and the cliff lift to Southbourne beach, which is quieter than Bournemouth beach, which can get very crowded. There are a couple of pubs nearby if you want a drink, but other places are better for food. Ask Elizabeth, who was very helpful at pointing out places to eat. There is plenty of parking at the hotel and free on the road nearby. There are bus stops to Bournemouth on the High St a shortwalk away and on the cliff Road to Boscome if you fancy leaving the 🚗 behind. Tours can be taken from near the pier at Bournmouth to various sights for example, Corfe Castle and Durdle Door. Overall, it was a great place for a quiet, relaxing break with great hosts.

Another perfect stay. Hosts are very welcoming. The rooms spotless and breakfasts delicious. You even get cake in your room every day. There's fresh milk to have with a great selection of tea/coffee in your room.

Everything spotless and tastefully done . Breakfast superb . Hosts could not be more helpful . Close to cliff top and beaches and convenient to local shops , Christchurch and Bournemouth . Free on-site parking

This is a lovely B and B which has a fabulous location very close to the beach in one direction and the town with many restaurant options in the other direction. My room was immaculate and comfortable. The bathroom with walk in shower was lovely with a heated towel rack and two shower head options. Mini fridge with filtered water and milk with teas and coffees set up was an appreciated convenience. The homemade cake in the room was a delicious and a lovely touch. Breakfast was served in the dining room with a plentiful buffet of yogurts, cereals, homemade jams and marmalades as well as pastries. Cooked breakfast items are available and were enjoyed. Elizabeth and Noel are welcoming hosts! I highly recommend this lovely place if you are going to be traveling in this area.
