Best Western Plus Bowling Green

Would not recommend

The staff was great. Very professional and kind. However, the suite that we stayed with my family of 3 kids were very dirty. The pull out couch that I planned to sleep at was dirty and I ended up sleeping with 2 of my kids in one of the queen beds. The showers constantly leaked water and the tub was dirty with brown pieces on the floor. The lights in the bathroom flickered constantly. Breakfast was basic but the coffee machine was nice. Again, great staff that I spoke to but the room was not the best.

We had a room on the ground floor facing the highway. The rooms were labeled no smoking but that obviously didn’t deter and guests from doing so. Our room smelled like cigarettes from the smell wafting in under the door and from the previous guest. The room wasn’t incredibly clean- the floor was dirty and there were visible cobwebs. Also although we requested no room service, maintenance still showed up requesting access to the room to check the sprinkler system. While I understand that these need to be taken care of, it was inconvenient. Overall the hotel wasn’t wonderful but it wasn’t horrible. The woman working the breakfast area was absolutely wonderful and that was the cleanest part of the hotel that we saw. The breakfast options were good as well but seating became very limited as the weekend approached.

Breakfast was solid, although the area does get a bit cramped on weekends when this place is very crowded. Clean rooms, friendly staff. I would say the value for the price is hard to beat. I'd recommend if you're looking for reasonably priced accommodations in Bowling Green, or looking for a decent stay that isn't a far drive from places like Mammoth Caves.

The bath tube had a black mark on the bottom the shower was very hard to operate and it was out of shampoo not sure what it was but there were some small insects possibly fleas and a stink bug in the room

It was just okay. Pretty warn, not the cleanest. Breakfast was fine. For a place to rest your head during a road trip, it’s okay. Just kind of smelled funky and our room was musty.

Rooms seemed dirty. Marks on the walls, chair, and stain in the carpet. Fine for one night but wouldn’t recommend for longer stays.

Everyone was pleasant and friendly The amenities were great, especially the gym and full breakfast.
