SureStay Hotel by Best Western Bowling Green North

Looks nice in photos but when we got there it was ran down got two room they had roaches and Beatles as well stains on the bed dried out buggers on the walls in places used soap in the bathroom just unpleasant all together.

The pictures look nothing like what it actually looks like. Very rundown, stairs to the second story were concrete and almost every step was cracked and sounded like you would fall any second. The room was so stuffy and smelled like mold. Which there was in the shower room.

Great value for the money. Room was clean and easy in and out for truck drivers in tractor trailers. No laundry access though.

Our room was comfortable and the beds/furniture were good. There was a small issue with our room, and the employee immediately came from the lobby and fixed it. Breakfast was small, but a nice bonus, and the coffee was good. For a discount motel, I thought that it exceeded expectations and provided good value.

Calls itself a hotel and I would argue it was more of a motel. Room was kind of stuffy/smelly. Desk stuff was polite and helpful. Decent location right of the highway, walking distance to Starbucks and right across the street from Corvette museum.

We checked in and upon entering the romm we found a big hole in the bathroom wall. I tried calling the front desk and the phone didn't work. I called using my cell phone and I asked for another room. The lady at the front desk said she couldn't move me to another room. The hotel was deserted so I know they had extra rooms. I then asked for a refund and was told no she could not do that. I went to the lobby and the girl gave me a lot of attitude saying she could not move me or give me a refund. A manager was needed for that so I asked for the manager and she refused to call him and told me i would need to come back in the morning and get it from the manager.and I would not be charged for the damages!! I was furious. I would never go there and the lady should not be dealing with the public.

Staff was friendly. Beds hard, ac worked half the time, coffee was not the best. It was quiet, but he television was the dish network. Kept resetting connection or just going mute half the time. I did like the option to watch you tube though. They should offer a better instruction of use. Over all, it was worth the price. Decent staff made it actually nice.

Other than the friendly front desk staff nothing about this place would have me returning. It’s just run down and filthy. The rooms smell horrible, the connecting door in our room had a broken, hanging handle. The air was either full blast loud or nothing at all. If we hadn’t been on the road for so long in such horrible traffic and just needed a couple hours of sleep so badly we likely would not have stayed. 100% would not recommend this place.

The toilet tank did not fill properly. I told them about it, and they said yes room 111 has an issue with the toilet. No maintenance on hand to fix it. I had to use a 5 gallon bucket that I had to flush toilet. And yet they had the nerve to charge me $25.00 for our 7.5 pound toy poodle that basically drank their water. UNBELIEVABLE !!! I would not recommend staying there. Bad customer service.
