We stayed for two nights in this hotel. The room was fine as was the outdoor pool area which was a pleasure. However, the staff has a serious problem with customer service that was horrendous. I use a walker so most of the schlepping of our luggage, etc. falls on my wife. When she asked for a luggage cart, the two people sitting at the desk responded that they have three of them, but they can’t find them as they must be in customers’ rooms. My wife is a small woman who is 67 years old. She began to make six trips into the hotel as the two geniuses at the front desk just watched her bring in all of our stuff. They just sat there without budging to assist her. We were just furious at the lack of empathy and customer service. We did find a manager who heard the story and apologized profusely. He said we should call the manager of the front desk, Alex, and tell him what occurred. We called candy left a voicemail. He never returned our call! We happened to see him the next morning and when asked why he didn’t call us back, he just shrugged. When we told him what happened, he couldn’t have cared less. Now we know why the two staffers who just sat there were so poorly trained . Their direct supervisor was as clueless as them. The next morning, I found the general manager who was apologetic, but didn’t convince me that he would do anything. He at least could have credited a breakfast or two that we charged to the room or just something. A very poor showing for Courtyard management and staff.

We stayed here for more than two weeks as our home was under renovation. Our double Queen bed room was most comfortable and quite spacious. The beds provided just the right amount of firmnesses as I have a bad back and cannot sleep on soft beds. The bathroom was a good size and very bright. Shower pressure was excellent. There was plenty of storage areas in our room which was great for our long term stay. The hotel location is great - across the street from countless restaurants and within a two minute drive of many more. The hotel grounds are kept immaculate and the pool area is lush and most inviting. As long term guests we were grateful to have a laundry room located on premises. The included breakfast was terrific and included several varieties of eggs, biscuits and gravy, a waffle maker, breakfast meats, yogurts, cold cereals, hot oatmeal, bagels, breads, muffins, fresh fruits, coffee/tea/hot cocoa and a variety of juices. Staff continuously replenished items throughout breakfast hours. During our stay we noticed how spotless the staff kept the common areas of the hotel. Housekeeping (once every four days unless otherwise requested) was wonderful and assisted us with any requests such as extra soap, moisturizer, towels, etc. Our interactions with ALL members of the staff were exceedingly pleasant as everyone was very friendly and took the time to chat with us. We truly were made to feel at home throughout our stay.

My father took me away for my birthday, he booked this hotel in advance, through hotels.ca. We checked into our first room, and there was towels on the floor, the floor was SOAKED, and there was a leak in the ceiling. The room had an offputting smell. There were weird people hanging around, and it felt like a ghetto hotel. We went to the front desk, told them our issue, and the man at the desk switched our room promptly. We go to our second room, and the smell was there as well. There were stains on the chair and couch, dirt/crumbs on the table, and dirt/dust ALL over the baseboards. There was a cable outlet with a wire sticking out and no cover on it. I turn on the tv and (very reluctantly) sat down to watch some tv (the only thing that makes this place better than a dumpster). We spent an hour trying to get onto the internet to no avail. Go in and check out the bathroom and the cupboard door is falling off, there’s grime all over the sink, floors, and fixtures. There was screws sticking out of the door, and bugs on the floor. Go into the bedroom to check the bed and there was little black and brown spots (an indicator of bed bugs) and little bug shells in the seams of the mattress. At this point my dad had been to reception 3 times to figure out the internet. Staff was rude about the internet, wouldn’t help out with anything. We asked for a refund and the woman said she can’t do refunds. We decided to take the loss and go to a motel 6, we will be complaining to hotels.ca to hopefully get a refund. I’m just glad we got out of there before we got eaten alive by the bugs! I went back in to the room to take pictures and got pictures of 2 different bugs in 2 different areas within about 30 seconds of each other. :(

The customer service here is terrible and if you’re coming here and need to stay another day or so past your reserved dates forget about it! They’ll have your room already booked to someone else. Horrible! Jesse Espinoza was the MOD while I was here and the night before my checkout date I asked for an extension. He told me they were ALREADY sold out. Just so happens the next morning I go back down to the front desk and let them know I was having a bit of a hard time because my daughter had gotten sick and was throwing up and I told them again that I still needed the room so she could rest. Again they said they didn’t have the availability and that I was only able to do a late checkout for 12:30pm instead of 11:00am. So I asked why is that you guys book reservations on top of guests who have not checked out yet? I was told that peoples trips are planned in advance so once you check in someone else has already paid for their reservation on your room by the time you check into it. I kept asking why they allow that and Jesse got pretty frustrated with me and they suggested that they look into one of their sister properties for availability. I asked why it is that they would rather have me pack all of my things knowing I need still need the room and leave to go to another location and not the people that haven’t even checked in yet and Jesse told me because he has to “honor the guests reservation.” He also told me that by not allowing me to extend even though I asked the night prior that he’s not dishonoring anything with me because I didn’t reserve for a later time and that I would still be required to check out at the expected time. This is a major inconvenience especially considering my daughter got sick. If you come here either overbook your stay and check out early if you leave according to your plans or simply don’t come here unless your satisfied with terrible customer service and just about any requests that you have being denied. This place needs an entirely new staff and a full ***** of their policies. This place also needs to be inspected for health code violations because during my last stay the water in the bathtub was coming out yellow. No I’m not exaggerating. Again if you’ve made it this far hear me out, DONT COME HERE!

as I said earlier in my other review they are continental breakfast dining room is closed down and has been closed down for the past 30 days the pool is closed down for the last 30 days as per the health department the only food on-site is what you can buy downstairs in the office area or what you order out to eat other than that it's a nice hotel but people here are very friendly and passionate about the people saying and I work right down the street and I've been getting some fantastic deals on this website

Our family booked 4 rooms here for a funeral. We were not familiar with the area but could not have picked a better location. Behind the hotel there are numerous stores, restaurants and a bakery that you can walk to. Nearby is a supermarket and bowling alley. The room had ants in the bathroom sink. We did not see them after the first day. The room was spacious and overall clean. The breakfast area had many options but many were high carb choices such as bagels, donuts and cereals. There is a coffee, tea and hot chocolate station in the lobby. However, after a long day I went to make a cup tea and there was no water. I waited for 20 minutes at the front desk and had to go behind the counter to find a staff member. The lady on duty was on her cell phone and annoyed to be interrupted. I told her that there were 3 other customers waiting at the desk for service. She was RUDE and told me I had to wait until the next day for housekeeping to refill the water. All other staff members were courteous. If you are a light sleeper this may not be the place for you because you can hear all chatter in the hallways as early as 6 am.
