Comfort Inn Bozeman Near University
3.9/598 Reviews
The hotel is 15 minutes from Bozeman Airport and there is a Walmart supermarket next door. One night before going to Huangshi Park, I got off the plane and lived here. I just bought it at the supermarket next to the restaurant and took it to the park. The hotel is similar to a motel, but it is better than the motel, the facilities are new, the room is large, the breakfast is OK, milk, bread, waffles, scrambled eggs are all available. Although close to the roadside, but noisy, the door of the room is inside the hotel, not external, it is safer. It takes about one and a half hours drive from the hotel to reach the north gate of Yellowstone Park. It is cheaper than the town living outside the North Gate, and the facilities are good.

Motel 6 Bozeman, MT
3.5/598 Reviews
First things first, we were grateful that Motel 6 welcomed us and our 4 dogs (all between 5 and 14lbs), and there was no charge for the dogs! Our room was not carpeted and was the biggest one we stayed in all week. There was even a couch in the room. The bathroom (only shower) was a bit small and probably needs an upgrade but it was perfect for us. We had to walk our dogs down one floor to get outside but our dogs were fine with that. Great room, one of the best we stayed in during this road trip! And the front desk was really friendly during check in.

Pros: -good sleep quality -decently appointed room, especially for a Super 8 -good service -decent location off Interstate Cons: -heater was so loud, had a hard time sleeping -hallways smell -rooms need better lighting
Hampton Inn Bozeman
4.3/565 Reviews
First time at this property, but have been at literally countless Hamptons before (Lifetime Diamond). Convenient location to Highway 90, which was much appreciated. Older property, with older signage, furniture, etc. No probs w/road noise, but I am so used to highway noise, that it doesn't bother me anymore. But on the plus side, older property means there are adequate hooks in the bathroom for your items, enough places to put your belongings, and no silly cheap barn door that keeps sliding around for the closet and bathroom. Just there for one quick night, it was a good and easy place between where I was coming from and going to (Billings, the next morning). Decent Mexican dinner across the highway. Shower flow weak in shower, as is often the case-makes for long showers. Standard Hampton breakfast, but huge props to this property for having almond milk on breakfast buffet. Not sure why so many don't have it. Staff was fine and friendly during this quick stop. No idea about pool; never use them. This is not a resort property, by any means, but worked for my purposes. Would return again for another stopover right near 90.
