Midland Hotel Bradford

Excellent stay at the Midland Hotel. I was attending an event in the French Ballroom, so the location couldn't have been more convenient. The price was also surprisingly cheap for a Friday night, which made it even better value. My room was an unexpected highlight. It was decorated with Laurel and Hardy memorabilia because one of them apparently stayed in the room in 1952. I'm not particularly a fan, but I do enjoy quirky and unusual touches, so I found it a fun bit of novelty. The room itself was much nicer than I expected. It was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with a kettle, tea, coffee, biscuits, an iron and ironing board (although I didn't make use of them). There was also a table with two comfortable armchairs as well as a desk and chair, giving plenty of space to relax. I only stayed for one night, so I didn't use the shower, but my sister did and had no complaints. There appeared to be shampoo/body wash provided. If I were staying longer, I would probably appreciate conditioner being available as well. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by both the quality of the room and the value for money. I'd happily stay again.

The Hotel Staff were exceptionally polite, supportive and courteous. I had Breakfast on day two of my stay and this was excellent . I requested Boiled Eggs these were made to order and were amazing! The free Car Park is an excellent additional bonus about the Hotel.

If you want to travel back in time this hotel is for you. It’s so amazingly antique. It feels like you’re back in the museum.

The hotel is cavernous, but well kept. The room was clean and bedding was comfortable, bathroom and towels are more than adequate. Nice seating and table area, with the added bonus of a fridge, being a great surprise. Car parking was a little awkward on arrival, however, reception politely explained numerous events where taking place and confirmed my parking was suitable. The reception staff on arrival and departure were polite, friendly, and accommodating. I didn’t use any of the other facilities at the hotel. Would use again.

Arrived a bit early & helpful receptionist allowed me to drop off bags as room ready. Reduced room cleaning service for shorter stays is a great idea. Staff always very friendly.

Grand older style hotel with spacious public areas and some signs of disrepair. Staff were friendly and helpful and reopened the bar both nights after 11pm. Hotel was in a great location for us, between both train stations that we used and close to cafes, restaurants and attractions of Bradford. Room was clean, bright and large with tall sash windows. Bed was big and comfortably firm. A great weekend meeting up with old friends.

Lovely hotel in great location. The TV streaming was below par. BBC iPlayer unavailable an extraordinary omission and YouTube dropped offline after a minute or so after several attempts it became unusable.

Hotel is traditional. Didn’t have any food but the room was clean and warm. Parking on site.
