We had a signed group contract with this hotel for a large reservation that was booked six months in advance. As our event approached, communication became increasingly inconsistent, and we were repeatedly reassured that everything was fine. Then, at the last minute, the hotel cancelled our entire group reservation without any real explanation. What was most disappointing was the complete lack of professionalism or accountability. Despite having a signed contract, the hotel failed to honor the agreement and never even offered a sincere apology for the disruption it caused. Canceling a group booking this close to the event created a significant logistical problem for our group. We had to scramble to find accommodations on short notice because the hotel simply chose not to uphold its commitment. If you’re planning a group stay or event, I would strongly recommend confirming that your reservation will actually be honored.
