"Waterpolo club from Rovinj mistakenly paid for the invoice and proforma invoice - they paid twice and the owner of the hotel does not want to send the money back for couple of months now. Never ever will book this hotel for anybody - they only made us as a club look bad."

"Our experience at Villa Bea was unfortunately disappointing. We had booked and fully paid in advance for a Deluxe apartment, based on the photos and description shown on ***********. However, when we arrived we were placed in a completely different apartment. After contacting the host, they confirmed that the Deluxe apartment we booked was unavailable due to maintenance and that they had moved us to another unit. While they described it as an “upgrade” because the apartment was larger, it did not correspond to the Deluxe category we had reserved. The layout, design and overall condition were quite different from what was advertised. After a long discussion, the host eventually acknowledged that the Deluxe room could not be provided and offered a discount instead. Unfortunately, the issues were not limited to the room type. The apartment was not very clean, there was a noticeable unpleasant smell, especially in the bathroom, and several basic amenities were missing. The lighting in the apartment was poor and the overall layout was not very practical for a comfortable stay. Although the space was large, for two people it did not feel well designed or convenient. The only positive aspect was the size of the apartment, but that alone does not compensate for the mismatch with the original booking and the overall condition of the room. We appreciate that the host responded to messages, but the situation could have been avoided if the room that was booked had been honored or clearly communicated in advance."
