We loved staying here. The staff were very helpful, the breakfast was terrific. Rome are quite nice and the value for the price is very good. The area, Bregenzerwald, is packed with things to do and as beautiful as we have seen. Highly recommended—especially is you like cheese, for which this area is famous.

When I arrived, I had the unpleasant sensation of learning that my reservation had been made, by myself, the day before! But no worries, the manager told me straight away that there was no problem despite my payment on a site with “no cancellation”, a big sigh of relief. BIG THANKS TO THE MANAGEMENT.
Then head to the fourth floor to our room. Nice room with balcony at the back, less noisy. Classic bathroom. Everything is clean.
We spent a pleasant night despite a little traffic noise from 5:00 a.m.
Breakfast in the morning in a very beautiful, typical wooden dining room. Large buffet, both sweet and savory (lots of choice of cold meats and cheese). We have a very pleasant time.
Parking in front of the hotel and dogs accepted.
Very friendly staff.
An address to recommend. 15 minutes from Bregenz.

We chose the Hotel Engel for a visit to the Bregenz Festival and were more than satisfied. Nice facilities, very friendly staff, and the free bus to the festival stops in front of the house.

Bel hôtel. Accueil sympathique. Facilité de garer la voiture. Grande chambre confortable. Bonne literie si ce n'est cette habitude des hôtels de la région de mettre 2 couettes individuelles sur les lits, peu pratique. Bon petit déjeuner.

Wir waren samstags zum Essen im Hotel Engel. Die Bedienung ist überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend , die Speisekarte umfangreich - gute Vorspeisenauswahl, diverse Fleischgerichte, Pasta und Pizza stehen zur Auswahl! Auch die bekannten Kässpätzle stehen auf der Karte sowie einige Desserts! Das Essen war sehr gut und auch liebevoll angerichtet. Die Atmosphäre ist ruhig, das Lokal bietet viel Platz und es ist sehr gemütlich, auch wenn die Einrichtung ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen ist, was aber durchaus charmant ist. Wir kommen sicher wieder!

Sehr gutes Hotel, mit schönen und wirklich großen Zimmern. Obwohl wir wegen Verkehrschaos nach 21:00 Uhr angereist sind, haben wir im Hotel Restaurant noch etwas zu essen bekommen. Das Personal vom Hotel und vom Restaurant waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist hervorragend, bei einem wirklich guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Auch unser Hund war im Hotel willkommen und kostete nur einen kleinen Aufpreis. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist der Lärm durch den Straßenverkehr.
