Do not book! It is closed down but still taking bookings, we were scammed. I have to write more to leave a tripadvisor review as there is a minimum character limit but that's all you need to know. Find somewhere else and still come to Bridlington

Read recent reviews and the guest house had a fire and apparently no alarm system working. I contacted the owner who didn't answer both numbers I had. Also left messages but he never got back to me we were booked in for 8th Aug. Glad we didn't pay anything with *********** I cancelled the least he could have done was contact us to inform us about the fire

Right booked a hotel turned out to be wrong place and was in Driffield haha so booked this place got drunk and guess what this place apparently had a fire and cancelled my room leaving no.more to stay on a busy weekend god knows how many people slept rough they offered a back up hotel that was rammed

Left us high and dry after they cancelled our booking the day we were due to check in. I understand the reason for cancelling was legitimate but to totally blank any communication from us, leaving us stranded, is disgusting.

My mum and dad stayed here last night when the this hotel went up in flames with my mum and dad stuck in there room. They were no smoke alarms so they were unaware the building was on fire until people started shouting!! Absolutely disgusting, if it wasn't for people shouting my mum and dad wouldn't be here now!!! I really hope the person who is incharge of this hotel gets prosecuted!!

Where do I begin? Place was literally a building site. No hot water, shower not working - shower plughole filled with hair! Cups for tea were MOULDY! Water glass in room still contained water from a previous occupant. The hall and staircase were half painted in various colours. I felt like wiping my feet on the way out.

Avoid. We was given the family flat upstairs…I’m sure it was used previously as dog kennels. There was 4 showers, half a shower actually worked, No light in the kitchen, lock on the kitchen, no working batteries in any remotes, the beds were extreme uncomfortable, the curtains are like tracing paper. smoke alarms out of date by 21 years. No lock on the door of which a 10yr old was staying, this was rectified the morning after been told to put a chair behind the door if felt unsafe. My sister complained about the problems to be told ‘I don’t need this, I’ll give you your money back and find something else. We had to leave a day early as 2 of the children became extremely sick, and i am 95% sure it was because of the dirtiness of the rooms. Someone was also smoking ******* in one of the rooms, it stunk, I understand that’s out of the owners control however this person should be asked to leave for having illegal substances on the premises. It seems to me as long as people keep booking and money is been taken they will stay open and hope for the best!!
