Best Hotels in Brielle

I was concerned by some of the reviews I read on Tripadvisor. I'm pretty picky, and I'm always worried about claustrophobic rooms when I visit old European properties. But I found the hotel to be very charming, clean, comfortable, with a spacious room and very good service. True, the carpeting is old and could use an update, but it's a three-star hotel and what you get is a fine three-star hotel. If you're looking for a Holiday Inn, you shouldn't stay here. But if you're looking for a charming boutique hotel, right on the central square of a charming Dutch town, with local charm and flavor, this is the place for you.

When we were going to check in the evening, there was only one staff member who had to operate both the bar and the bar. No dark curtains, a strange disinfection air in the bathroom (and on the corridors), a too small bathroom that washing the whole floor (washing table was not to be operated without a stick on the ground), No place to put your shower shampoo or shampoo, no smoking towels fresh, each of us had a different kiss which was too soft and hobbit, and there were no banks to put your trolley/coffer, so they had to go on the ground. The suction in the bathroom was not to be turned off, so it was awful all night, and at 6 a.m. wake up from the sunlight that came right under the curtains. The room was not quiet, but the room was not quiet, because all the doors were closed with a stick. You could choose what egg you wanted and it was made on the site. The parking space at the hotel was full, just ahead in the street there is a parking garage with a hitch tree where you can park your car free of charge. We were not impressed for 100 Euros for 1 night so next time another hotel.

I was there at 3.3.-4.3.2023 with a wife and an adult son. In total, 2 rooms already paid by credit card. At arrival we were asked by a clearly over-exigent receptionist to pay the roommaster cash because something doesn't work with credit card billing. And bar please because her own credit card machine doesn't work. Because we were very hurried, our grandchild was just born in Rotterdam, we paid. Two weeks later my credit card was charged 2x!!!!. After massive protests, a burden was reimbursed. But not the cash payment. I have been in telephone and written exchange with the hotel director for 2 months. Although the error was acknowledged in writing and payment promised, with always new excuses the transfer is delayed so the impression has emerged, they want to crush me until I give up nervously. I do not! My report should be a warning, please, not to persuade you to questionable payments on the ground. Obviously, you have incompetent staff and little willingness to solve the problem customer-friendly. I'm now giving it all to a lawyer.

I honestly don't know how come this hotel has 4 stars. The standard is significantly lower than other 4-star hotels in the Netherlands. The room was dirty and you could see dead insects smashed on the bathroom walls and the window. The AC didn't work so we barely slept. The location is not the most convenient, so I would expect they would compensate with the higher quality considering the price but it wasn't the case. The breakfast was ok. I wouldn't go there again. I think the rating of 4 stars is a scam in this case.

Before reading all bad reviews about this hotel, but we haven't booked any attractive & room. The hotel was very spacious, very clean and modern. The only point was that there was no TV (for music) & no chair. However, you could sit well in the broad window bank. A luxury breakfast was available at the restaurant below for €12. All with a very positive experience!

We like the location of the hotel. It is in midst of an old town and located along the canal. Close by is a shopping haven but most shops were closed because of the public holiday. The hotel is clean and the deco is modernistic inside with a traditional facet. Breakfast was excellent and the staff is so helpful and friendly. There is car park in front of hotel but limited space.

The environment is very good, very clean, right next to the train station, the hotel staff is very nice, more spitting is that there is no hot water bottle, but European hotels basically do not have hot water bottles

Ervaring was ok. Ik zou niet weer teruggaan. Badkamer met gordijn en douche kop waar niet veel water uitkwam. Kamer groot en koud en grenzend aan de ontbijtzaal. Ontbijt gemiddeld.
