Our first time at The View Hotel .. and we were not disappointed ! After arriving in the morning, Reception gave us a discounted parking ticket that allowed us to have parking directly outside the Hotel for just £2.00. After having a day out in Eastbourne Town, we returned to find that the sea view room that had been allocated to us ( Room 712 ) had excellent views of the sea and the Pier. We found the whole Hotel to be clean, tidy and modern - and the same applied to our room. We loved the location of the View Hotel, as we were within 10 min walking distance of the town and local bars and restaurants. Breakfast was excellent with a really good variety and we had a lovely view of the sea from our breakfast table. One of the best breakfasts that we have had in a Hotel in a long time. All staff were really helpful and accommodating and that was really appreciated. Full credit to Claire Prysor-Jones and the View Hotel Team for making out stay a really pleasurable experience and we will certainly be returning again and have no hesitation in recommending this Hotel to others.. Rob & Angela - We had fun at Planet Golf (on the Pier) - Glow In The Dark Crazy Golf - We had a nice meal and enjoyed the live music at The Belgian Cafe - Visited the Wish Tower Memorial - Next to the Wish Tower .. We recently stayed at this beautiful historic hotel on Eastbourne’s stunning seafront. I cannot fault the quality of our stay. The hotel has been beautifully refurbished and is an oasis of peace and calm. The dining experience is exquisite and the delicious breakfasts are hearty and plentiful. The staff go out of their way to help and the rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable. The views out to see are breathtaking. We’ve stayed in several hotels in Eastbourne but this one is our absolute favourite by far. We will be returning again and again. Thank you to all the lovely staff for our fantastic weekend.

I have come down from Hailsham and absolutely loved the scenery on the green where I consumed many lovely pints! What was more impressive was the young man named Scott who has been outstanding with his customer service! Tried to walk Inside- he offered me table service! Pints brought out instantly by him after each order and even the chips !! Less than 30 seconds after I ordered !! Even the local maccies isn’t that quick !! He over heard me talking about getting a table at the Thai across the green and walked up there and booked me the best table in the restaurant! Thank you Scott! We will come back!

The location is fantastic- easy walk from the station, on the sea front and close to the pier but also a short walk into the town centre. The reception team are very welcoming and helpful, providing great customer service. Although my single room was “compact”, it was very comfortable and came with a side view of the sea. The only downside was the shower water pressure was dreadful. However, I had a great stay and would recommend the Burlington Hotel for a very good value for money stay in Eastbourne.

Very hard to find as it's just named Hotel. Not Halcyon. Small unassuming frontage white house converted. Carpets in reception and up stairs abyssmal Staff pleasant. Room was good but cold. Lovely view. Not much good if you arrive and it's getting dark and have to be up early for marathon. Had to ask for central heating to be put on which went off later. No extra blanket in room. Clock in room was lovely but wasn't working. Extremely expensive for one night. £172 ??expecting full breakfast, was continental, cheap cereals, days old croissants that were microwaved, cheap yoghurt. Things you'd tally pay peanuts for. I asked why it was so expensive I was told that's the price for that room. But when I was booking they had another room and was told it was also £170. Today it's £70???

Lovely hotel with an amazing view of the Eastbourne beach. You are even provided with a pair of binoculars to enjoy further! Stayed for one night to see family with our 3 month old and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We had a travel cot ready and waiting with all essentials in a beautifully presented room. We woke up to a lovely breakfast buffet offering cold and cooked options. Great location and can’t wait for a stay in the summer! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a break by the sea!

It is about 2 kilometers from the city center of Brighton. The traffic is very convenient. No extra bed is allowed, and children can be taken. The room is not big, but the design is very distinctive, with artistic style. The sea view room has a balcony, and the sea and harbor are outside, which is very nice. Downstairs is the Food City, let’s have a good meal.
