Central and close to the beach. It’s the old student accommodation now in private hands.

First itne here and had room to myself practically. Amazing! Only caveat it no lifts and the annoying building work going on at 7am in the morning! Bear in mind I checked in at 12am it wasn't ideal!

Great location! Budget friendly hostel and clean place. Comfy mattresses. The staff are friendly, warm and welcoming.

Was an amazing stay there. The location was perfect in the center and all the parties are really close.

We went for Brighton Pride and we were very happy with our stay, surprised by how perfect the location is and our room had views to the Pavillion!!! The bathrooms never had hand gel so that could be improved. The girls at reception were both lovely!

1 Star One of the worst accommodation experiences I've had, especially considering I paid £100 for one bed for one night. The lift was out of service, yet I was allocated a bed on the 5th floor with no warning or assistance. Carrying luggage up five flights of stairs was unacceptable. It got even worse when I reached my room. The bed I had been assigned was already occupied by another guest. I then had to wait over an hour for reception to sort out another bed. This showed a complete lack of organisation and poor management. The Wi-Fi on the 5th floor wasn't working, so there was no internet access during my stay. The 5th-floor exit door was also faulty, and I had to walk down the fire exit stairs to find a member of staff just to get the door opened. The cleanliness was another major disappointment. The bathrooms and toilets were dirty and clearly not cleaned to an acceptable standard. I didn't feel comfortable using the shower because of the poor hygiene. For £100 a night, I expected basic standards: a working lift or proper notice, a bed that was actually available, reliable Wi-Fi, functioning doors, and clean bathroom facilities. Instead, I experienced inconvenience, poor organisation, and unacceptable cleanliness. I cannot recommend this place and would not stay here again.

The lift was out of service for my stay and I got put into the fourth floor that man going up and down with my luggage, which was very heavy and going up and down any time that I needed to grab something honestly for me it wasn’t that bad but I saw elderly guests, even leaving their luggage downstairs because going up and down was hard enough for them not to mention to carry everything. Unfortunately, in my room, there was a situation where the manager made a mistake with the bed of one girl which was given twice, and he came into the room, all angry, and screaming to eventually realize his mistake that was definitely a turn off that will not make me come back.

I had an absolutely FANTASTIC STAY at Safestay Brighton and couldn’t RECOMMEND IT more highly! From the moment I arrived, every member of staff made me feel genuinely welcome. They are exceptionally friendly, PROFESSIONAL, approachable and always happy to help with anything you need. They also have excellent local knowledge and are full of great recommendations for places to eat, things to do and getting around Brighton. The LOCATION is UNBEATABLE. Situated directly opposite the beautiful Royal Pavilion, you’re only a FEW MINS WALK from the BEACH and pier, the Lanes, gardens, countless cafés and restaurants, supermarkets, bars, bike hire, launderettes and the main bus stops. Even the train station is within easy walking distance..making it the PERFECT BASE for exploring Brighton. One thing that really stood out to me was how WELL MAINTAINED the hostel is. As it’s newly opened, everything feels fresh, modern and well looked after (not like some older hostels that can feel tired or musty). The HOUSEKEEPING team are WONDERFUL and always happy to help. Any request I had was dealt with quickly and with a smile, which made my stay even more comfortable. The hostel has a lovely and SAFE SOCIAL ATMOSPHERE too. The chill out lounge is a great place to relax..with 24 hr access for guests and there are FUN ACTIVITIES like karaoke nights, world cup viewings, movie nights, board games and a variety of drinks available, making it EASY TO MEET PEOPLE from all over the world. There was never a shortage of interesting conversations or vibrant characters from every walk of life..which made the experience even more memorabl Check-in and check-out were both smooth and HASSLE-FREE and ACCESS to the building is simple and secure. A huge thank you to the entire SAFESTAY BRIGHTON TEAM for making my stay such a POSITIVE EXPERIENCE. A special thank you to Charlie, Sara, Brooke, Max, Dee, Maryam and all. Everyone went above and beyond to make me feel at home..not just for me but for every guest I saw you greet :) I truly appreciated the kindness, respect and care shown throughout my stay. I’ve really made some wonderful memories and even some great friendships here. If you’re looking for a well maintained, modern, WELCOMING HOSTEL in the best location in Brighton with an amazing team behind it, Safestay Brighton is the place to stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again!
