DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole

Beautiful hotel and lovely family room, very clean and comfortable. The service was slightly slow, we asked for our complimentary water and recieved it 24hours later. Queue for check in & check out was long and took some time, despite 3 staff members at reception. Pool was lovely, very good for children, but must be booked in advance. Seafront location is brilliant with plenty of activities and restaurants close by. Would book again and would definitely recommend.

Fantastic stay – great service, location, and value! We stayed over a weekend and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Check-in: we arrived early at 1pm (official check-in is 3pm) and was pleasantly surprised that our rooms was already ready. The front desk team were warm and welcoming. Service: The staff went above and beyond – they even sent a follow-up SMS to check if our rooms were comfortable and if we needed any assistance. A personal touch that made a real difference. Location: Perfect – just a few steps from Brighton beach. Very convenient for exploring the seafront and town. Room: Clean, comfortable, and with strong, reliable air-conditioning. We didn't have a sea view (opted for a standard room), but it was perfectly fine since we were out most of the day. Wi-Fi: Fast and consistent – no issues at all. Parking: On-site parking available, and the rate was very reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. Breakfast: The buffet spread was superb. A special mention for the dedicated vegan and vegetarian station – great to see such thoughtful options. Overall: Highly recommended for families, couples, solo travellers, or anyone wanting a stress-free stay in Brighton. I'd definitely stay again.

The hotel reception gave me my room key and when I arrived at my room it was still being cleaned. Very tired hotelbut given its age it was excellent. Breakfast was above excellent, especially the egg station. Excellent poached eggs. My room overlooked, rubbish and large fans. Health club, sauna was out of order.

Everything was amazing except our room didn’t have a fridge and towels were lacking as there were three of us. The check in time took a while, if they could adjust it to start earlier that could help as it starts at 1600 which made the place crowded as everyone seemed to have been tired and waited quite long just to check in. Another thing, they have this rule that kids can only start swimming at 9:15 which was a bit late especially checkout was at 11am..But overall this place was amazing, would still go back and recommend!

Good location and great stay for family. Easy to walk around the pier and good restaurants nearby.

Good location Lovely hotel We had a queen size room which was cozy but big enough Decorated lovely Didn’t seem to hear much noise during the night Downsides -No mini fridge in room -Only one towel hook in bathroom for wet towels -Only seemed to be shared changing areas for swimming pool -one for males one for females- I feel a couple of private changing rooms could be added for privacy
