Ambassador Hotel

This was the cheapest hotel we found with two single beds. Our room was in the basement, accessible via a rather steep staircase with low head clearance. It was a good-sized room with relatively comfortable beds. Unfortunately, it was very noisy; we could hear everything, even when the next-door neighbor was in the bathroom. The location wasn't particularly scenic, but all of Brighton's tourist highlights were within a few minutes' walk. The room was generally clean, though the toilet flush wasn't working properly and only cold water came out of the shower. Neither was a major issue for us. This is a clear recommendation for travelers on a tight budget who prioritize saving money. If comfort is important to you, you should consider spending a bit more.
