The Grand Brighton

I booked two deluxe sea-view rooms and specifically requested high floors, quiet rooms, and proximity to the elevator in my Ctrip notes. I even reconfirmed these preferences with Ctrip the day before arrival. However, I was given two dark, corner rooms on what felt like a half-basement level, which looked nothing like the deluxe sea-view rooms pictured on my booking. I'm currently still in discussions with Ctrip about this.

The hotel has a great atmosphere. Just across the road downstairs is the beach, where you can lie on the sand and enjoy a beer. The town itself is also perfect for sightseeing.

The sea-view room is definitely worth it, and the breakfast with a beautiful view offers great value for money.

The environment and breakfast were good, and the location was excellent. However, there were no tissues in the room, and I had to call to request them. The front desk staff member was incredibly rude and had a terrible attitude. There were about 10-12 steps at the entrance, and carrying heavy luggage up them was very inconvenient as the elevator doesn't cover that area.
