Summer House Brisbane

Room and washroom is very clean and spacious. There are staff cleaning the washroom in the morning and evening. Bus-stop is just opposite the road and convenient to go anywhere. The only thing is there is no personal light at each bed. The kitchen and dining area/ common space is too small.

Quite good overall, just a little bit crowded for the kitchen, but they have private bathroom for 4 bed dorm so it’s quite good

The staff was lovely, however my friend and I had a hard time making friends at this hostel. They do have events designed to make friends but unfortunately most days we were busy doing other things. We also both got top bunks and as someone with ankle issues I struggled. The kitchen is also tiny with no cold water and absolutely nowhere to put anything. There is also not many places to hang out other than the room and the areas are crowded. Thankfully the bathrooms were always clean and the staff was very friendly. And the view from the rooftop was nice although it was crowded.

The room was clean and neat. Love that the bedsheets and pillow case are put on upon checking in.
