Great location. 15 mins walk to Southbank and 5-10 mins walk to CBD. Nice restaurant. Amazing Grill Bar at the hotel.

Great hotel right on the river A little bit further away from centre of cbd but worth a little extra walk Only negative is no free parking for guests $49 is a bit steep when you are already paying top dollar for the room

Great location, right by the water and botanical gardens. Great restaurants nearby. We asked for a nice room, and were given 815 that was one of the few corner rooms with excellent views!

Classic hotel The view on story bridge is wonderful The harbor is under little construction, but still a great walk just outside of the hotel. Very close to all the main spot in the city, great restaurants near by. Recommended for ppl who would enjoy classic and historical type of stay.

Great location, right next to the Botanical Gardens. This location is quieter than other 5 star hotels in Brisbane city and much preferred. Furniture is a little old but view is amazing.

I used to really enjoy staying at this hotel but not any more. You can tell they've cut down on a lot of costs, it shows in the training of their front desk staff, the plastic flowers on display, the low quality of the sheets and the cheap amenities that they now use. For the amount that I paid for one night in this hotel, I should have just stayed in a FOUR STAR hotel as this hotel is no longer what I would rate is a five star hotel. All in all it's now BASIC.

I like this hotel very much. The city center is not big and the hotel is only about ten minutes' walk away. The whole hotel has a sense of age and the view outside the room window is very good. There is a pier not far from the hotel, which is convenient for night cruises

I almost froze to death at night because the quilt was better than nothing, and there was only one blanket that was so dirty that I dared not use it. Fortunately, there were twin beds, so I took the quilt from the other bed and used it. When I checked in, I asked the front desk if there was toothpaste and toothbrush in the room, but I found out that there was none when I wanted to sleep in the middle of the night. The room is directly on the Brisbane River! It is a distance from the train station, and it takes 10-15 minutes to walk, all the way downhill (it is uphill when walking). It takes 1 minute to reach the Botanical Garden. There is a bridge next to it. It would be more convenient to go to the other side if the bridge is opened! Otherwise, this section of the road has been unable to cross the opposite Kangaroo Point, and you can only take a boat to the other side. The room is quite large, and the bathroom is especially large. There is also a small TV in it for watching while soaking in the bathtub. The breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays is richer than that on Mondays to Fridays, and there are more people. The room price is also super expensive. The room price for one night on Saturday is more expensive than my 4 nights in Sydney and Melbourne. It may be because the city is small and there is not much to choose from and the booking is late. I arrived at the store early and couldn't check in. I will leave my phone number. I will call to notify you when the room is ready at about 14 o'clock. Check-in requires a deposit pre-authorization.
