The room on a high floor of this historic hotel was extremely comfortable, and well - insulated from noise. It had a marvellous view of the cathedral. The buffet spread for breakfast was delicious, with the English staples as well as a decent selection of pastries. The staff were friendly and efficient.

No slippers and toiletries in the room, parking for £ 17.9 a night, not bad

There were cleaning products all over the bathroom despite the tiles being surrounded by moldy grout. Emails to manager have as yet yielded no response. The rooms are basic and somewhat tired. I hope things improve as I like the location and it's easy for getting to work when I'm in the area.
