Our visit here was amazing! I was hesitant at first because the location of the hotel is more towards the middle of the island, but I’m so glad we did this because it ended up being our favorite part of our two week trip to Croatia! It was a nice break from the chaos of the touristy towns. We worked with the hotel for a transfer from the Korcula ferry port to the hotel. It was supposed to be 25 euros per person each way, but the taxi driver overcharged us and I wasn’t very happy about it. But it all worked out because the manager kindly gave us a free ride into town on our way out. They also upgraded us to a bigger room for free which was quite nice of them. The receptionist was amazing! Helped us with a few requests, including arranging a shuttle to the nearby town of Smokvica for wine tasting. It was quiet and quant hotel. We loved it so much we even thought about trying to stay a few more days, but unfortunately had other things booked in Dubrovnik. I will say the full board that comes with the room is just okay. We thought about venturing out one night to a nearby restaurant but decided to skip dinner altogether. I would recommend going out to dinner, if possible. Other than that, it is the perfect place if you want to relax by the sea, read your book, and soak up the sun! Side note: if you’re taking the ferry out of Korcula, highly recommend booking in advance as they sell out fast!

We had a rent car and had difficulty reaching the island by ferry from Split because the ferry schedule was very limited. We became unsure of what we faced, so we eventually decided to cancel our reservation. We first sent an email to the Hotel on Saturday night, explaining our concerns and requesting advice about the ferry, then after not receiving any response, we decided to cancel and make alternative arrangements on Sunday before our stay was to begin on Monday. The Hotel finally responded on Monday. Unfortunately, we had to pay for 1 night, which I understand.

When we arrived, we were told our room was in Block C. It transpired that this was some distance along the road. We had to go down some steps to the level for our room. We had to go down many steps to get to the beach area. Our sea view room looked out onto a gravel terrace full of ****s. The hotel was by no means full - why were we given this room? My husband told the receptionist that the room was completely unsuitable because I have a heart complaint - I couldn’t cope with all the steps involved, so needed a room serviced by an elevator. The receptionist - Senka - was very helpful and offered us a change of room straight away. We said we’d move the next morning. All the rooms are identical, but they really are chalk and cheese. Our new room (201) was SO much better…… proper sea view with no ****s in sight, near to the elevator and other facilities. (The C Block room was 501……avoid!) I really can’t understand how the rooms are allocated. We had booked for 5 nights, and the first room was awful, and you could see clearly from the pool area, for example, that there were plenty of empty rooms in the main building. The room was comfortable with a very comfortable bed, and an adequate balcony. The shower room needs updating. It’s very small and sombre, with unpleasant smelling toiletries. Thin towels. They will provide a kettle and cups if you ask, so I took my own tea bags from home, as I’d read that on Tripadvisor before we left. The breakfasts were good. The evening dinner - buffet - was generally fine, although the hot food needed to be hot. The desserts were the usual fare of terribly sweet cakes, but there was fresh fruit, and you could help yourself to icecream, so all was not lost. Wines , (local), are quite pricey and the cheapest one was not available by our last evening - I think we must have exhausted their supply on the previous four nights. Not many people seemed to be drinking wine. The swimming must have been great for confident swimmers. However, you’re straight away into deep water, so this hotel, if you are planning on a beach type break, is completely unsuitable if you have young children or are not that confident a swimmer yourself. I thought I’d swim in the pool, but didn’t, as this is a throw back from older times - you are out of your depth for 2/3 of the pool. This was our swimming part of a two week trip and I wasn’t able to swim at all, which was tremendously disappointing. Friendly and hard working staff and everywhere was very clean. My Aminess Loyalty card refused to work. After two attempts by reception , assuring me it would work, I didn’t bother anymore. There are two supermarkets close by. Go to the pool area, then go down one flight of steps and turn left towards the village, and follow the road along the edge of the sea. After a short distance is the first one - open just mornings. Much further along is a decent sized supermarket. And it’s a pleasant stroll to get there.

The hotel is a unique stylish stay, with great amenities and location. My only regret is that my stay was too short.

For the price, this hotel really does offer excellent amenities and a seafront spot that you would pay a lot more for in another location. The staff were also super accommodating and friendly so there is a lot going for this hotel. However, if you are a foodie and good food makes / breaks a holiday for you (as it does for me) this probably isn't the spot for you. The quality of the buffet dinner was poor, there are very limited alternative options for dinner in Brna and it is €100 return taxi to Korcula which makes going elsewhere for dinner prohibitive so this really impacted on my enjoyment of my stay. If this hotel upped it's food offering it could be a real game changer.

Lovely peaceful hotel in a glorious seafront location. The staff were really helpful, polite and efficient. The room was comfortable, the food really good with loads of choice. A perfect choice if hotel for lazing on a sunbed right next to the sea and going for a refreshing swim. Very highly recommended.

We stayed here as a couple for 4 nights as part of our holiday to Croatia. The hotel is stunning, spotlessly clean with an amazing views. We did the dinner bed and breakfast option, lots of choice for both meals to suit everyone. We had no problem getting a sun bed when we went down to lido area, we even borrowed a kayak for an hour to have a paddle around. The reception staff are amazing we booked 2 trips with them so we could go off Na explore and the organised us a shuttle bus ride up to local winery for the afternoon, nothing was too much. I love the fact the hotel is trying To be sustainable by giving you the option to reuse towels and miss a clean every day if you wish which we did and we where rewarded with chocolates as thank you. Also they put a bottle of wine in my room for my birthday such a lovely touch really made us feel welcome. Amazing place made even better by the staff Thank you for having us

Our stay at the Aminess Lume was fantastic. From the minute we arrived we felt a calmness. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast and dinner selections were very good. Our room was overlooking the pool and sea and was very comfortable and clean. The terrace areas for sunbathing and swimming were easy to access and not crowded, and the pool area was very empty, and the sea was lovely to swim in.
