Once again it was the perfect holiday at the Maximus! If you've never been here, read up on it and see if it's what you're looking for. You can obviously just spend some nights here, but what makes this place really special is it's unique offer of spa, wellness, sauna ceremonies and much more. It never fails to fulfill our expectations.

Awful service and waste of money. I wanted to spend a relaxing weekend and I received the exact opposite. The wellness is packed with all sort of guests, many even smoke (outside the area) but still carry on the bad smell. The sleep was terrible, last night there was a wedding party, with high volume music, until the late hours (3?). In a wellness resort???? I'm there to relax and enjoy quiet, not in a teenager hostel!!! FGS!!! The desk staff is useless and not prepared for a wannabe 4 starts. I had a problem in the room with A/C, too cold and there was only one operator, not answering the phone, so I had to go to the reception and ask for support that she could not give, as she could not leave the desk. She asked me to wait 2 hours for the maintenance operator to arrive in site. What if I had waterpipe fluds or a fire? Should I wait in the room for 2 hrs?? She could not come up with any solution, not even asking me to wait at the bar or changing room. Just 'I'm sorry'. I asked to call the manager and manager wasn't answering the phone...Nice!! At first she told me there werent other rooms available, when I became really upset and told her this wasnt a 4 starts service...something magic happened...there was a room I could move in...WOW! I needed to get mad, in a wellness resort, to be able to get a room I could rest in. Breakfast is basic, many products offered but low quality. Cold cut, as ham and salmon had a terrible colour, scrumble eggs were waterish and pastries tasteless. I had much better breakfast elsewere. Never again

Concerning the technical issue in your room, it is correct that during the night our maintenance staff is not on-site but on-call, which can unfortunately mean a waiting period in case of urgent problems. We will certainly review this situation internally. As for the room change, we regret the impression you had. Our receptionists are instructed to offer alternatives whenever possible, but the hotel’s availability can change quickly, which is why the option appeared later. We are also sorry that our breakfast selection did not meet your expectations. Many of our guests appreciate the variety and freshness, but we will carefully recheck the quality you mention with our kitchen team. Maximus Hotel & Wellness – Is This 4-Star Service? I was genuinely excited to experience your couple’s package – a night’s stay and a 3-hour wellness session. As a first-time guest, I expected a seamless, rejuvenating experience. Sadly, I left disappointed – not by the facilities, but by the lack of consideration in your guest service. Lost in Wellness Centre We weren't allowed to see the wellness centre before using our 3-hour slot. The place is huge – but without a tour or orientation, we wasted precious time figuring it out ourselves. We didn’t get to enjoy all the facilities, and our time ran out. This is avoidable and unfair. Inflexible Timing, Despite Being Hotel Guests We asked to split our wellness time so we could enjoy it at our leisure – we were, after all, staying at the hotel. But no flexibility was offered. Since we couldn’t commit to the unlimited package, we were stuck. This rigid policy makes little sense, especially for hotel guests unfamiliar with the wellness centre. Breakfast Confusion Reception told us breakfast ran till 10:30. We arrived at 10:00 – but it had already ended. Apparently, the receptionist got the timing wrong because it was a public holiday. The restaurant manager let me grab a rushed coffee and bite – appreciated, but awkward with him checking on me as food was cleared away. This is not what I expected from a 4-star rated hotel. First-time guests deserve better orientation, more flexible use of facilities, and accurate information from staff. Please do better – the experience has potential, but the service must match the promise.

With regard to your wellness access, we understand your desire for more flexibility. However, the 3-hour entry is designed as a single continuous visit and cannot be split into multiple sessions. As for breakfast – we’d like to clarify that the receptionist provided the correct information. On weekends and public holidays, breakfast is indeed served until 10:30. We were positively surprised as we read negative reviews but it was the best wellness ever. The hotel room was spacious and silent. Nicely decorated. The food was delicious three course menu with free drinks included. The breakfast was good. And the best of the best the saunas. We booked unlimited wellness package from 12 to 2 pm next day. Every 30 minutes awesome sauna ceremonies with great light shows and great sauna masters. The hobbit cave saunas and the lake is helping to fully relax. Highly recommend.

I arrived today for a 4 night stay to recover from some medical treatment - the perfect place to lay down on a sunbed and rest… so I thought! Coming to a luxury “spa and wellness” hotel, you’d expect access to the spa and wellness as part of your stay right? Wrong! Access is chargeable by 90, 120, or 180 minutes. To go lay by the pool for the day there is a special 24 hour rate of 1,000 czk per day (from 12 noon one day to 12 noon the next, which is weird). 1,000 czk is an astonishing £35 gbp! And because of my treatment, I cannot use any of the spa facilities. When I raised this with reception and asked where else I can relax, I was told there’s no where else within the hotel complex, but I could go to the ‘beach bar’ by the side of the dam. There’s no beach towel or picnic blanket hire though. I am really disappointed!! I was really clear when I booked I was having treatment and needed a place to rest because I requested a balcony room. We got that but it faces the back of other rooms and I’m yet to see the sun from it - maybe in the morning. Oh, and the toilet is leaking! Great… 4 nights then home time. I can’t wait!!

We stayed at this hotel for one night. I will say right away that there are few hotels in which I wanted to extend my vacation, but this hotel was one of the few in which I wanted to stay. So let's start, they met us at the reception, quickly checked in and we went to check in. The room was very large and cozy, with a huge terrace. The bed was very soft and fresh. And the highlight of this complex is the SPA SPA!!! The spa was very cool, lots of saunas and a large outdoor heated pool that was warm even outside. Breakfast is very tasty and plentiful. I definitely recommend it

Very pleasant experience in this installation. Their saunas and Spa services are wonderful, as is the attention of their workers. I recommend this hotel for recreation and relaxation. Other services can be found to make your stay even more enjoyable.

Maximus hotel, es lo máximo. Lo recomiendo especialmente, para parejas, así disfrutar de una visita de agradable experiecia. No hay nada mejor, todo es de excelente disfrute. Recomiendo la visita y, por sobretodo, MAXIMUS. El servicio de saunas y masages son maravillosos. Si el tiempo lo permite, tomar unas siestas en sus jardines, de seguro que les hará desaparecer todo estrés y recargarán todas las celulas de energías positivas.
