Reviews of Talisman Apartments

Received an email on the day of arrival requesting payment details for holding deposit and to enable provision of the keys. This was really frustrating and delayed access. Given the amount of emails I recieved in the lead up trying to get me to pay for an extra room (which there were just the two of us staying anyway) was really frustrating and difficult to find the information we needed to be able to check in since there was no OPEN check in desk. Now that we have stayed at this location - I was REALLY disappointed to receive a notice of them taking more payments out as THEY had left the rooms open and then charged us because we used the second bathroom. The amount of dust, food scraps and debris under the lounge chairs was awful. The bed linen was more polyester and so very hot to try and sleep under. The bathroom had long black hairs on the floor (I have short hair and my husband has short black hair!!). The lounge chair recliner - one did not function properly and they were certainly NOT comfortable to sit in for any period of time. We did like the location, the closeness of the beach and access to the shops. I did not appreciate the extra charge to our account of $90. I feel that it was a poor reflection of their inability to prepare for our arrival - in leaving the whole apartment open and then expecting us to know not to use a room - if the room was not to be used - it should have been closed and locked or communicated clearly.

Excellent experience at the Talisman. Location, service, views . Could not complain. Would recommend the Talisman for your next stay. Will definitely be back again
