Old Station House B&B

We were greeted warmly on arrival by Jenni the owner and this set the tone for our three night stay. We were in the station view room, a comfortable, attractive room on the first floor with a bath and shower. Breakfast was served in the lovely dining room and was really nice. Good choice available. We particularly enjoyed Jenni's omelettes. There is also a lovely lounge available for guests to relax in after a busy day. Car parking is available for guests as you enter the driveway on the right. It is a short walk into Broadway, a lovely attractive village, with a varied selection of shops, cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes. Jenni was a super host and runs a fab B&B. Jenni was very welcoming and made us feel immediately at home. The rooms are all beautifully furnished and comfortable with subtle touches in the decor acknowledging the building's railway heritage. The guesthouse is set back from the road at the end of the station approach and a peaceful night's sleep is assured. Breakfasts are wonderful! Great selection of fresh fruit with cereals and of course the traditional full English. Veggies and vegans (me) catered for but remember to let Jenni know in advance. We made the 15 minute walk into Broadway each evening and ate well in different restaurants during our stay. The Broadway (Indian) Restaurant was very good! Not having a car, we were reliant on the local buses to visit nearby villages, but being a rural area the service is infrequent. Taxis were busy and needed to be booked in advance. Should have realised - what townies we are! Will return to the beautiful Cotswolds (with car next time) and will most certainly stay at The Old Station House again! Barrie & Genny

Simply fantastic every time. We were returning guests of 3 family members - two superb bedrooms beautifully appointed and immaculate. This has always been our experience. As for the breakfasts, we have never had better in the UK or abroad. The food was truly superb and portions were generous setting us up for exciting days exploring the Cotswolds. Broadway is our favourite location and the Old Station House is within easy reach of the village centre and some excellent restaurants and recommendations are given making a choice easier. We could not end a review without praising our wonderful hosts. Andy and Jenni gave us and all their guests the warmest of welcome and were always on hand to give assistance. If you want the best imaginable treat and outstanding value we cannot imagine finding a better bed and Breakfast.
