What a lovely treat for my birthday It’s such a magical place as soon as you drive down the driveway, the charm the beauty the air, the guest house beauty just shines. Abbots grange is set in a gorgeous setting Fields beauty and nature. On arrival Maria presented herself with bubbles warm welcome We were shown in to the great hall where we sank into the gorgeous sofas with our bubbles. In front of the lovely fire which set the scene. We were shown to the honesty bar this is so lovely lots of options coffee to soft to alcohol not forgetting the the hotel uses local produce The room abbots grange was charming full of character the free standing bath and four poster bed shone. We had dinner at the swan which is a lovely local and a few minutes walk from the house through the secret gate The next morning the smell of breakfast cooking was Devine Sarah welcomed us and showed us where to sit fantastic waitress We had fresh fruit and toast followed by a wonderful cooked breakfast by Elena The stay was truly magical and I would recommend anyone to do this it’s a true escape and relax in a piece of history that’s magical Thank you team abbots grange for making us welcome to a beautiful home.

This is not a 5 star lodge/hotel. The grounds are maybe 4 star. The room is 3 star. The service is 1 star. We had to fill out our breakfast choices on a list like you’d do in a 3 or 4 star restaurant the day before. And as if that’s not bad enough, the food is rationed. You get one mushroom and one sausage on your plate. They do not have veggies to add to an omelette. They can’t make boiled eggs. If you happen to forget to fill out the breakfast list the day before, they have no flexibility. You just won’t eat, because the food is rationed out precisely as to how many guests will eat. The number of eggs is exact etc. The same women who cook also clean, so they are visibly irritated when you show up without submitting your choices the night before because they have to hurry to clean the rooms. They only serve breakfast in a 1.5 hour window because they have to rush to go and start cleaning the guest rooms. We asked for extra towels and extra water in the room. It never happened. The bath soap was not refilled. The cleaning ladies left their cleaning agents in our bathroom twice. I have never seen this happen before in a 5 star hotel. We have stayed in many 5 star hotels and this is DEFINITELY NOWHERE near 5 stars. It is 3 star at the most! They are clearly trying to make a huge profit by economizing their supplies, food and staff!!! And the outside of the door is unkempt. The room is tired, the bed is tiny, bed sheets are low quality and the entire room is NOT 5 star !!

my sister and I thoroughly enjoyed staying here and it might be one of the best places we’ve stayed at in the UK. The staff were so welcoming, special mention to Marie who made the check in process so smooth accompanied by a lovely glass of Prosecco. The building is full of character and history and we absolutely loved the main lounge area with the warm fire, reminded us of the common room in Harry Potter! We stayed in the Monet room with the en-suite and it was fabulous. Great sets of amenities in the room including Molton brown toiletries, we also loved the individualised scrolls welcoming us in our rooms. We had complimentary tea, strawberries and shortcake in the afternoon whilst we played a game of chess. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were so attentive. We also got given a box of tasty fudge. So close to broadway through the hidden gate and the grounds look beautiful. We also met the owner who was lovely, was so interesting to hear about the buildings history. We shall be returning!

We can’t imagine a better place than Abbots Grange Manor House to experience the best of the Cotswolds. From the charming history, the beautiful rooms and grounds, to its fabulous and convenient location in Broadway, we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Sitting in front of the giant fireplace with a glass of wine and meeting other guests was truly delightful. Our hosts and the staff were attentive and so friendly. Our room was a lovely mix of period feel and modern convenience - smartly updated and ever so comfortable. The included breakfast was amazingly delicious and very generous. We recommend Abbots Grange as an absolute must stay if you are planning a visit to the Cotswolds. We are so happy we stayed there!

My husband and I have just returned from a wonderful stay at Abbots Grange Manor House. The owners and their daughter-in-law Stacey are very welcoming and were all happy to chat about the very long history of the building. All of the public areas were spotlessly clean and furnished to fully complement the age of the property. The Great Hall is a wonderful place to sit relaxing with a drink from the pulpit bar on the comfortable sofas with an open fire to keep you warm. I fell in love with our room - The Abbots Chamber Suite, with its stunning window. The room was also spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need provided. The pretty village of Broadway is accessible through a secure locked gate within the grounds. There are plenty of restaurants, pubs and shops to keep you entertained before heading back to the Grange. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious with amazing service. You can choose cooked, continental or both. We have stayed in many beautiful hotels all over the country and I can honestly say that Abbots Grange is now our favourite. There is something very special about this place and we were very sad to leave but will absolutely be returning again.

This was a last minute decision to book for my birthday, and what a great one. The Grange is located at the foot of the high street, close to all the lovely shops and eateries. The welcome was very friendly and the room was perfect. All staff were so professional and extremely polite. The ambience in the beautiful building was superb, from the Great Hall to the oak panelled dining room where fantastic breakfasts were served, including specials. Would highly recommend.

A true gem in the Cotswolds, steeped in history and full of atmosphere! The staff was second to none and although an old building, the insulation was impressive as the rooms had no draught and no noise. The drawing room kept a lit fire and was the perfect place to enjoy a cup of tea. A delicious breakfast was served daily. We would most definitely return, and hope to!

My husband and I spent 2 nights in the Abbot's Chamber room for a holiday getaway. The location is perfect - directly next to downtown Broadway and there is an easy to follow path on the property. We were met on arrival with a glass of bubbly and given a tour of the property and our room. The history of the manor was impressive, plus the added bonus of the Christmas decorations made for such a cozy and inviting stay. Our room was very spacious and came with thoughtful amenities such as tea, biscuits, and slippers. The in room tub and fireplace were one of the reasons we selected this specific room, and they did not disappoint! We also spent some time reading in the Great Hall, which has complimentary afternoon tea and cakes. We also really appreciated the honestly bar and how easy it was to grab ourselves a drink while enjoying the ambiance by the Christmas tree. Highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the Cotswolds.
