Overall our stay was enjoyable and the staff were very courteous at all times. Our room was comfortable and clean but there were areas, particularly in the bar area which were very dusty, in particularly under the table where the menus sat and the adjacent chair. There is not really a true bar area where we might have congregated with other guests and during the time we did sit there the “barman” only appeared briefly once! Breakfast was great but didn’t experience an evening meal as the menu had no appeal

Beautiful setting, historic and timeless. Lovely staff. Could not have been more kind or accommodating. Great location as a Gateway to explore the Cotswolds.
