Guesthouse Mirabel

What can we say about our 2 night stay at Guesthouse B & B Mirabel? A lovely welcome with recommendations of places to eat and things to do, a comfortable, beautifully decorated room in a perfect location. The breakfasts are fantastic especially the little ‘extra’ provided each day and the attention to detail in everything puts this place in the top notch variety. We don’t have any suggestions on how to improve - just keep doing what you’re doing! We do not hesitate to recommend this wonderful place and the owners deserve every success. We will be back and hope to see you again soon.

We stayed Monday to Wednesday at Mirabel and are sad to be leaving today. What a fantastic guesthouse. Lovely decor and exceptionally clean and tidy. My daughter and I were made to feel very welcome on arrival and really appreciated the recommendations for what to see while there. The room was stunning, full of charm and character. Lovely views over Bruges and I spent so much time on the window seat just having a brew and looking out. We were in a suite on the 3rd floor. Nice small lift did the job getting us and our luggage to the room. Really comfy bed and had a perfect nights sleep. The breakfast was amazing and particularly loved the French toast. Not something we usually have at home but I will be trying to replicate this at home. Dead close to everything, when I looked on the map I don’t think I actually realised how close we were to everything. 2 mins to burg another minute to markt then on to the shopping street with usual shops but in characterful buildings. Loved all the sights, plenty to see and do. We had 2 nights and this was ok but maybe 3 would be better as just got in the swing of things. If you want a quiet break in a gorgeous b&b then this is the place for you. Oh and the detail in this place, gorgeous wood floor, room decor was original antiques.

Before our stay with our family of 3 couples we had very good communciation with the host Agna. The B&B is within footwalking distance to old town and all attractions. We had a hearty welcome by Agnes and her husband. They are very keen to have your stay as pleasant as possible. Rooms were very nice and I loved the little details like flowers in room etc. Agnes is a floristic designer and you find her pieces of work throughout the B&B which gives the whole place a very special and unique aspect. Breakfast was delicious. The only thing we could say was missing - and this was nothing more than a cherry on a delicious cake - was some kind of outside space or terrace to sit and relax after a day of sigthseeing. Agnes and her husband are aware of it, but due to architectural circumstances and city regulations they unfortunately cannot help this. So - all in all, I would definitely recommand and if I return some day to Brugge, I know where to stay!

Such a lovely place to stay and probably the nicest, or one of the nicest places, I have ever stayed. The room was so well decorated, with comfy beds, a refrigerator, a/c, and everything we needed. Bathroom had a shower and bath as well as two sinks. Nice views of Bruges. They also provided an absolutely amazing, huge breakfast and free water, coffee, and tea that was available 24/7. Highly recommend.

Agna and her husband are wonderful hosts in their recently renovated property. Agna is a florist and the property is filled with flowers and elegant decoration. Amazing location and nothing is too much trouble, probably the friendliest host we have ever had!! Breakfast is incredible and the whole place is testament to owners who really do care. Highly recommend.

This guest house was absolutely superb, my wife and I are seasoned travellers and this place was very impressive. The rooms are superbly decorated with original antique furniture and the bathroom was well above average with a good bath. the fridge had good wine in for us (At a charge). The breakfast was very good, I think that we had about 4 courses, finished off with Agna's home made apple pies. It was just the ticket. Communication between the owners and us was very good and the arrival briefing, with drinks, about the City was extremely helpful. We will definitely be returning to this guest house.

There was a separate bedroom, ideal for traveling with one teenage or a grown child. There was a small foyer connecting the main room and the separate bedroom. It was the service that pushed my rating to 5 stars. Agna and Beny prepared us well for our stay in Bruges, giving useful tips on city orientation, venues, and public transportation. Breakfast were served per order at the appointed hour and were always carefully prepared and of high quality. To top it off, Guesthouse Mirabel had a great location, five minutes from the Civic Plaza (de Burg) and the Grand Market (Grote Markt), and five minutes from Jan van Eyckplein. We stayed in Bruges and at Guesthouse Mirabel for four nights, including a one-day trip to Brussels. It was easy to see that Agna and Beny put a lot of thoughts, attention and efforts in making an enjoyable stay for their guests. We thoroughly enjoyed the accommodation and the hospitality provided us by affable duo.

Amazing. Lots of words follow to say book this place right now. Agna the host is wonderful, the property is spotless, close to everything, historic and freshly done. There's an elevator, so if you can choose the third floor for the views of the rooftops of Bruges. The breakfasts are wonderful and filling, you make your choices and there is plenty to choose from. The room (33) was excellent. Large, two windows overlooking the neighborhood. The bathroom is stunning, clean and crisp and huge with tub and shower. There is a coffee and tea station on the ground floor that has great choices. This was a two day stay after days in Paris and following on to Amsterdam. Great city, great people, beautiful all around. Again, don't hesitate. Just book. And thank Agna again for me, she is a treasure.
