Smartflats - the Place Brussels

The hotel room has a strong smell, as the other reviews suggests. And on top of that, the wifi internet service was not covered and the hotel management did not solved during my stay and refused to respond for it.

The stairs are dangerously narrow and steep. If you have luggage to carry up, it is almost impossible to go up. It was difficult for us to go up and down the stairs with our standard backpacks. If you have small children they can easily fall between the railings and get severely hurt !!!! Loud noise from outside, no soundproofing, hard to sleep when you hear loud music and screaming from outside. The room STINKS of sewage and mold. We tried to contact Smartflats as it was unbearable because my mother has asthma and could not breathe properly, but they could not be reached during the stay!!! We contacted ******* and when they contacted them they refused to apologize or compensate us. They only care about getting paid, not a serious company. DO NOT BOOK a room through smartflats !!!!!
