A strong warning regarding Trip.com!
Heads up, everyone: this hotel has changed its name to Numa. It's a fully automated hotel with no front desk or on-site staff. You must check in online prior to arrival. If you're planning to book, it's highly advisable to complete this process while you're still in China.
I wasn't aware of the name change, so I mistakenly thought the email from Numa was spam. When I arrived and then tried to check in online, it led to numerous problems. With no staff around, I felt completely stranded and had absolutely no one to turn to. (For example, my Chinese mobile number couldn't receive verification codes here, which compounded the issue significantly.)
Overall, the hotel itself is quite good, and the location is fantastic. However, the information listed on Trip.com is inconsistent and outdated. Please proceed with caution.
