We stay here when on business in Budapest, and usually don't have problems but staying in 315 recently we were put next to people having a party in 317, it was really noisy, some kind of last night in Budapest flight crew thing. Why would you put business people next to party people? It just made no sense. We got moved for the night to a quieter suite on same floor, 323, which was great but the next day the front desk ”miscommunicated” us to the breakfast area to collect our breakfast boxes. Its puzzling. Overall the staff are super friendly and things usually go without a hitch and on that basis I would recommend. I really hope standards aren't slipping as it would be a shame.

The lobby is just fabulous and the Cafe de Paris, which is attached to, but not owned by (as I understand it) the hotel is totally amazing. Wonderful marble lobby, friendly and very efficient front desk/concierge staff and the rooms are good, but not exceptional. For sightseeing the location is not the best - there are no good restaurants around and about and the food on the hotel’s balcony overlooking the Cafe de Paris is boring and very expensive - as is the wine, and drinks in the lobby. We would recommend the hotel highly to friends but point out that the location is not the best for sightseeing - that said there is a Hop on, Hop off bus stop right outside the door.

The Clark Hotel is located at Buda, which's very close to the cable car station of the Castle. It's also approachable for other sightseeing places in Buda. However, there's maintenance work nearby, so that the view from the room is not perfect. The check-in process is quite fast and efficient. Overall, the staff are friendly, except few cleaners who seem to be very cool and ignorant. I like the design of the Hotel which's very modern and posh. My room is on the 7th floor where there's a big balcony. If you have friends coming in the evening, all of you could enjoy the stunning night view of the City. The room is quite spacious that you have enough space for enjoying. Indeed, there're many other hotels choices for you to decide, although the Clark is obviously an ideal one.

Always feel inconvenient, but it is cheaper, the key is to be able to book. The hotel in Budapest is still quite difficult. This is a chain, and there are several in the city center.

The hotel has a good location, with the M3 metro replacement bus the city center is approximately 20 minutes without changing. The room is clean and comfortable. The bathroom is tidy. The NH Collection Budapest City Center provided a decent stay for my first (and hopefully not last) visit to Budapest, Hungary. I stayed nine nights in November 2021 and opted for one of the residence apartments with a second floor. The amount of space provided was impressive. Loved having a balcony on both floors. Did not use the smaller bath downstairs very much. The apartment provided a microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher and combination clothes washer/dryer. I was very pleased with he amenities offered in the apartment. I was very happy that the upstairs bathroom had a shower, which did NOT leak! Many other hotels are installing showers with a completely useless half shower door. The upstairs shower was a full enclosure and did not suffer an extremely wet floor with damp towels after showering. Bravo NH Collection Budapest City Center! The staff at the hotel were very helpful and I very much appreciated that the breakfast staff did not turn guests away if they showed up for breakfast after breakfast had ended. Guests were still allowed to have breakfast as long as food items were still available to be taken. However, after a few days, the breakfast options are a bit boring (same every day). The coffee is outstanding and offered all day long. Cookies and other snacks are available as well. I noticed that the business center computers still had Windows 7 installed?! Perhaps change that and update the operating system on the computers. Needless to stay, I did not use those computers. As others have mentioned, the hotel is within walking distance to an accessible MTS underground train station, Lidl grocery, the New York Cafe and a very good burger restaurant (Vaslap). All things considered, I would probably consider staying again or recommend to others opting to visit Budapest. Hope this review helps!

Well, while I was thinking to have been ignored, the staff of this hotel was working silently for me in the back stage. So that, first of all: THANKS A LOT TO EVERYONE. I apologize for my fault. I’m grateful for your promptness in sending to my home a stuff forgotten at the hotel. Coming to the experience, once upon a time…a way to manage hospitality. Here the hospitality is full of care. The hotel is perfectly located, a few walk from Chains Bridge , tram train and Budapest Parliament. When you get in you are enraptured by the stunning, lustful lobby and by the aroma on the air. We stay in a suite, which has all the amenities you need and a touch of elegance you do not find everywhere. The staff is all kind and helpful, starting from the valet Parker, the Concierge team, the Person who brings your luggage. Every need is considered with professionalism, respect and care. A special mention to the breakfast: you’ll find a right variety of international suggestions. What is it important to point out is the freshness and the quality of the food. In this case too, only few times the food quality related to a top rated hotel respect the expectation. Here the reality went over expectation. Finally, we can say to have been stayed at our home because each time we reach the hotel it was like we have been living there. Many thanks for the special delights founded into the room to celebrate my wife’s special occasion. Congrats to everyone for the hard, helpful, kind work which was the pillar of our amazing stay in Budapest. All the best and looking forward to a next stay.

Amazing short break with some old Friends. The Hotel was fantastic, perfect location , terrific helpful staff and clean with funky designs. The food in the breakfast area was plentiful, varied and with a perfect Macchiato coffee machine . The bar staff were friendly, engaging and accommodating when we politely asked if the Bar could stay open a bit longer than advertised. We could not fault any aspect of our stay at all and I would certainly recommend it to both friends and colleagues thinking of going to Budapest.

This hotel ticks all the boxes , location is brilliant bars and restaurants all around you’ll not struggle finding a drink or a place to eat , from burger joints to Michelin restaurants. Very close ruin bars and cafe New York , also the bus stop for the tour bus is within a 5 min walk , we got our bus tickets from the hotel and the women at the desk couldn’t be more helpful. The room we had was executive double it was huge had a lounge area with tea n coffee making facilities, separate shower n bath in the bathroom , mini bar offering everything you need to make your stay comfortable, the maids came every day cleaned our room and brought fresh towels, bedding and replenished our tea n coffee facilities. Breakfast at the hotel was lovely it had a huge offering there was something for everyone from fresh fruits ,pastries and juices to the hot selection bacon eggs etc , the hotel pool and sauna is brilliant and we used this every morning before breakfast. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Budapest , we really couldn’t fault it on our visit here ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Budapest is I'm definitely going to see the night view. There are several hotels to choose from to enjoy the view of the National Assembly building. No, this one had the best location. When I made the reservation, I was worried about what would happen if the facilities were not good. When I went there, I was surprised that it was much cleaner than I expected. Next time I go to Budapest again I will definitely visit again The river view is amazing

The airport shuttle bus 100E drops only a few minutes walk away from the hostel. (30mins travel) Very useful. There is a socket and reading light next to each bed and I had a change of bedding on my second day. I feel that this is due to there being no bed bookings and you choose your own, so they don't know which bed is still in use. There's a danger you may lose your bed if you don't leave things on it. There was a shared bathroom with a toilet in it and a locker provided in the room too. I brought my own towel as this was not provided. There is shower gel provided in the shower. A really central hostel, though they're is a hub of bars directly opposite, so they're is a lot of noise until very late which means I had disrupted sleep both nights. Plenty of takeaway places close for quick bites to eat and lots of café spots close too. This hostel is also very close to get to the main sights and starts of walking tours also if you'd be doing this too.

The hotel is very beautiful and modern and the staff very welcoming. not knowing the city, they do not hesitate to advise me on places to visit and explain to me how to get around with public transport. The room was very comfortable and modern corresponding to all my expectations. The only small negative point that I could cite is the restricted opening hours of the restaurant and the bar. Taking into account the neighborhood (8th arrondissement), I would have preferred to eat at the hotel than to have to go out or order. In summary, a great stay and can't wait to come back!

Nice hotel is central location. Staff well trained and seemed to truely want to make your stay a positive one. As an example, we needed taxi service several times and always could count on getting one exactly as needed. A few issues: -You can only regulate the cooling by up to 3 degrees, likely reasonable most days but we experienced one of the hottest days in Budapest's history this past week. A hot day/evening with the heavy comforters on all beds does not make for a good night's sleep. -The shower is raised by about 4 inches over the bathroom floor so anyone with a troublesome back, will have an issue stepping down from the slippery shower. -The breakfast was OK, not up to the standards that Kempinsky publicizes is their goal.

Visited Budapest in mid April for a 3 day break. Chose the Hotel Victoria for its location and views over the River Danube to the Parliament Building. It was a perfect choice for our short stay. Very clean room and facilities, decorated in a 'Boutique' style. Polite and helpful reception staff, and also the staff in the breakfast room (who will offer bacon and eggs in addition to the already extensive spread) Wifi is very strong and there are hot drink making facilities in room. Bed is comfortable and there is no street noise - even from the tramline that very conveniently has a stop right outside the hotel (must be very good sound proofing). Bathroom is modern and clean with a strong, hot shower. I recommend this hotel.

Chose this hotel for the good location and the fair price and honestly didn't expect too much from looking at the pictures. When we arrived we were allowed to check in way earlier than normal. Our room was small but functional, beds were cozy and there was plenty of room for storage. Everything was clean and the rooms are fairly noise proof. Our room was next to the elevator and we didn't hear it once. Breakfast was extensive and really good quality. The staff we interacted with was incredibly friendly and helpful, we felt so welcome and really enjoyed our stay here. Fully recommend, really an underrated hotel.

The room was small but sufficient. The bathroom was always cold but clean, shower was OK. We had a nice balcony over looking some pretty gardens. We didn't have a kettle or fridge but were allowed to use the kettle in the breakfast room whenever we wanted. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was toast, jam, butter, cheese, hams and salamis, salad and olives, boiled eggs, cereal, fruit, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and fresh orange. The bread was very nice. It is in a quiet area but very near the castle. Viktor, the owner was very helpful and even printed our train tickets for us for our next trip.

The location of the hotel is very good, and the surrounding scenic spots are within walking distance. However, walking from the subway station to the hotel are steps, and it will be inconvenient to bring luggage. The decoration style is very design sense, and the staff is very bice.

Super good, just below the Fisherman's Bastion, close to the chain bridge, all kinds of convenient travel, free public playground at the door, very suitable for children to play, the room is super good, breakfast is simple but the horns are super invincible! It is the best horn I have ever eaten! I still remember it! The only fly in the ointment is that there is no elevator. If you live on the fourth floor, you will get a little tired every day.

The room was small but sufficient. The bathroom was always cold but clean, shower was OK. We had a nice balcony over looking some pretty gardens. We didn't have a kettle or fridge but were allowed to use the kettle in the breakfast room whenever we wanted. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was toast, jam, butter, cheese, hams and salamis, salad and olives, boiled eggs, cereal, fruit, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and fresh orange. The bread was very nice. It is in a quiet area but very near the castle. Viktor, the owner was very helpful and even printed our train tickets for us for our next trip.

What we enjoyed: Real question is what is not to enjoy about this hotel?! The moment you enter the hotel, it gives you this royalistic and luxurious feeling as you walk into and within its hallways. Very beautiful and charming interior design! Clean and luxurious feeling! The staff deserves a special notice of their very friendly and polite presence during our whole stay there, always ready to help and serve our needs. We spent our 2 nights on 4th floor and our room was very pleasent with all its features, bed also very comfortable to sleep on and good soundproofing. Upon first enter, we were pleasently surprised by the dessert serving, that was provided for us as a welcoming gesture from hotel! Cakes don't lie. Breakfast was good and delicious and widely provided! Little bit everything for everyone. We loved the dining area in the hotel's beautiful restaurant hall, where you could enjoy your breakfast meal while admiring the hall's luxurious design. Lastly the spa and gym services provided should be something for everyone to check out. We wanted a spa features for our few days stay in Budapest and Aurea Ana Palace hotel's servings for this need were more than satisfying enough for couple days stay. Sauna was brilliantly realdeal (coming from a finn!) and cold pool, jacuzzi pools were suitable enough for relaxing for couple days. For longer than few days of stay maybe bigger spa facility would be needed. We also took massage service in the hotel, which was provided upon request. Masseuses were very professional and caring during the massage! Gym itself wasn't big deal: 2 treadmills, rowing machine, crosstrainer for some cardio training. Strength training possibilities were very minor due to one only small crosspulley device. What we DID NOT enjoy: Overall, I would say we were fully satisfied and happy of our stay in Aurea Ana Palace hotel. We will definitely recommend this to anyone looking for luxurious experience for few days in the city withoit breaking completely their wallet. We'll be keeping in mind of this pearl for the next time we set foot on Budapest! However, few development ideas to consider for the staff: Spa should be useable also during the earlier day/morning (Spa opens by 13.00). This would give more flexibility and even more richer experience for the guest to enjoy morning bath/sauna before starting their day. Gym could use few more additions for strength training capacities. For example in freeweight section, such as: handweights, bars, etc. Elevator traffic was sometimes too crowded. During our stay one of the two elevators was out of service, which made the hotel's one and only elevator overly congested. The broken elevator was sadly out of service during our whole visit.

The hotel is conveniently located very close to public transportation. The tram is right across the street and the Metro station just a short walk away. You can also walk across to the other side of town where all the stores and restaurants are by using the Chain Bridge. However the bridge was closed for pedestrians last month, not sure if it is now open. Our room was a good size and we had a beautiful view of the Danube river and the Parliament. The small balcony outside our window needed to be cleaned though, as there were spider webs everywhere. Realized that after I stuck my head outside to look at the view.. You can also look outside the window in the hallway when you get off the elevators. It has a nice view of the castle at night. Bathroom was fine, there was a nice bathtub with a nice shower but I found the bathtub very high and it took me extra effort to climb in and out. Never had that problem before but for some reason this tub was not easy to climb into. The breakfast had many yummy choices. There were not many changes in what they offered everyday, but still they had many choices and also many different coffees you could prepare on the machine. Front desk staff were cordial and one young man in particular was very helpful with everything that we needed. I don't remember his name but he was in his 30s I believe with a goatie. All in all we enjoyed our stay! The only thing we wished is that this hotel had a pool, but oh well!

The hotel is perfectly located, a few walk from Chains Bridge , tram train and Budapest Parliament. When you get in you are enraptured by the stunning, lustful lobby and by the aroma on the air. We stay in a suite, which has all the amenities you need and a touch of elegance you do not find everywhere. The staff is all kind and helpful, starting from the valet Parker, the Concierge team, the Person who brings your luggage. Every need is considered with professionalism, respect and care. A special mention to the breakfast: you’ll find a right variety of international suggestions. What is it important to point out is the freshness and the quality of the food. In this case too, only few times the food quality related to a top rated hotel respect the expectation. Here the reality went over expectation. Finally, we can say to have been stayed at our home because each time we reach the hotel it was like we have been living there. Many thanks for the special delights founded into the room to celebrate my wife’s special occasion. Congrats to everyone for the hard, helpful, kind work which was the pillar of our amazing stay in Budapest. All the best and looking forward to a next stay.

A solid performance from a good 'all round' experience. The hotel hasa great location overlooking the Danube. Well placed for nice walks, boat trips and restaurants alike. The hotel serves a thoroughly decent buffet breakfast in pleasant surroundings. The lobby and bar areas are very slick, contemporary styled and show a high degree of imagination. There is a physio /medical facility too. Seems to be very popular - offering a range of treatments. The spa pools are decent and the gym well equipped and a nice atmosphere. Nosotros estuvimos alojados en un duplex/atico con dos dormitorios dobles y estancia adicional para otra persona, y baño comnpleto en la parte de arriba, una terraza amueblada con buenas vista y en la zona de abajo un aseo y cocina/salon compartido. Muy comodo y bien decorado. Hay otros apartamentos mas pequeños pero el concepto es el mismo. El dueño muy amable. Ideal para una estancia en Budapest.

A good hotel but still needs to work on a few things. Rooms are excellent. At Breakfast the staff is a bit cold and a touch rude. When asked for butter, which ran out, a huge - „what?“, followed by an „ahhhh“ as the diva devine walked off to replace. Wine served at the bar is dishwasher water - come on - you are a wine Country, so serving wine which is the cheapest possible - seriously!!! Otherwise you can fault.
