The breakfast is very plentiful and suitable for bringing children together. The hotel has a swimming pool spa. The room can accommodate an extra bed. Very satisfied!

As soon as I entered the hotel, I was stunned by the exquisite small lobby, especially the small hot spring pool. The children like it very much, and they don't want to come out when they soak in it. The room is generally small, but tasteful, I don't like to be in a daze in the room except for sleeping. The gym is good. There is a patio beside the hot spring pool. It is very comfortable to lie down in it for a while. It's nice to have a rooftop garden restaurant👍

Hotel breakfast is very good, adult 16 euros, half price for children. The only bad thing is the two bedrooms, with two shower rooms, but there is only one toilet. If there are many people in the family, they will always have to wait for the toilet. Everything is fine except for this. The parking lot is also very convenient. From the garage you can take the elevator directly to the room floor.

A very nice establishment very well located for visiting Budapest, because the location is central and it is very well served by means of transport. In fact, you have a metro line and a bus line right in front of the hotel. The decor is very beautiful and the staff provides top-notch service. The only downside to our experience was that our room on the 5th floor had 2 very high windows offering no possibility of having a view of the outside. This information was not brought to our attention when booking.

The lobby is just fabulous and the Cafe de Paris, which is attached to, but not owned by (as I understand it) the hotel is totally amazing. Wonderful marble lobby, friendly and very efficient front desk/concierge staff and the rooms are good, but not exceptional. For sightseeing the location is not the best - there are no good restaurants around and about and the food on the hotel’s balcony overlooking the Cafe de Paris is boring and very expensive - as is the wine, and drinks in the lobby. We would recommend the hotel highly to friends but point out that the location is not the best for sightseeing - that said there is a Hop on, Hop off bus stop right outside the door.

Hotel service is very good, room service is always responsive, and the attitude is warm, because the anniversary of the hotel also presented champagne. Macarons are given every night. However, I returned to the hotel on the first night and found that the room had not been cleaned. I communicated with the hotel to confirm that this situation did not occur again after daily cleaning.

The NH Collection Budapest City Center provided a decent stay for my first (and hopefully not last) visit to Budapest, Hungary. I stayed nine nights in November 2021 and opted for one of the residence apartments with a second floor. The amount of space provided was impressive. Loved having a balcony on both floors. Did not use the smaller bath downstairs very much. The apartment provided a microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher and combination clothes washer/dryer. I was very pleased with he amenities offered in the apartment. I was very happy that the upstairs bathroom had a shower, which did NOT leak! Many other hotels are installing showers with a completely useless half shower door. The upstairs shower was a full enclosure and did not suffer an extremely wet floor with damp towels after showering. Bravo NH Collection Budapest City Center! The staff at the hotel were very helpful and I very much appreciated that the breakfast staff did not turn guests away if they showed up for breakfast after breakfast had ended. Guests were still allowed to have breakfast as long as food items were still available to be taken. However, after a few days, the breakfast options are a bit boring (same every day). The coffee is outstanding and offered all day long. Cookies and other snacks are available as well. I noticed that the business center computers still had Windows 7 installed?! Perhaps change that and update the operating system on the computers. Needless to stay, I did not use those computers. As others have mentioned, the hotel is within walking distance to an accessible MTS underground train station, Lidl grocery, the New York Cafe and a very good burger restaurant (Vaslap). All things considered, I would probably consider staying again or recommend to others opting to visit Budapest. Hope this review helps!

Lovely hotel with large clean rooms. Nice front desk staff. Good location in a quiet area. There's a lot to like about this hotel and I would give a 5 star rating, but we had issues with our specific room that made our stay less enjoyable. The front desk staff is very good and did their best to help us but we were only staying 1 night. We booked our room to stay 1 night in Budapest, after a river cruise, to regroup before continuing on with the rest of our vacation. We specifically booked at Izabella for the in room washer/dryer. The in room w/d is a combo unit, common in Europe. I've used similar units before with no issues. The washer worked well but we could not get the dryer to work. The front desk clerk was also unable to get the dryer to work so he allowed us to use the hotel's dryer in the basement. This all took awhile - We cancelled our dinner plans and ordered take out in order to be able to do some laundry. We were only able to do 2 small loads of laundry during our stay. Note: there is a drying rack in the bathroom; however, we were leaving early the next morning so there wasn't time to hang dry. We also could not get the A/C to work so we opened the balcony doors to cool the room. While the area is quiet, we experienced the usual city noise, and unfortunately, a group of guests, woke us a little after midnight, talking loudly for about 20 minutes. I tried shutting the door but the room got too warm. The other issue we had was very strong food odor coming from an adjoining room. The smell dissipated after about 2 hours with the balcony door open. I believe the issues were specific to our room as our friends in the room next door didn't have trouble with smells or a/c. I feel sure the staff would have tried to resolve the issues if we were there longer. I'm unsure whether to recommend this hotel - It was not a satisfactory stay for us but there was a lot to like about the hotel in the right circumstances.

We had an amazing time at UP hotel Budapest. Staff are polite and professional, our room and the hotel were clean, breakfast were good selections of foods and drinks and dinner at the restaurant were excellent. They don’t have kid’s menu so they provided pasta based on my child’s request. My child really enjoyed eating them.I definitely recommend UP hotel Budapest and would like to go back one day.

The building has been beautifully restored and we took many pictures of the lobby and reception area. It is conveniently located for any amount of services and good restaurants. The staff were so helpful and we even received an email the day after we left advising us that we had inadvertently left an important document in our room and offered to forward by mail. Fortunately, we were able to call in and pick it up as we were still in the area.

Large room, large shower but the water had probably a lot of limestone and other irritants so much that my girlfriend and I became blond at the end of the holiday, and I suggest to male available some eye drops because the eyes after the shower immediately became very reddened and swollen, as an Italian I really appreciated the presence of the bidet, lack of privacy because we had two windows that didn't even close completely and we had only one transparent white curtain available, and that was a passage area and everyone could see us inside. We thank the honesty of those who welcomed us and warned about the possibility of receiving unexpected visits: ”thieves and clochards” and for safety they also wrote it inside the room, just right on the wall indicating the exact point from which they would enter. I spent 4 nights at this hotel for my Christmas vacation and everything went great. The receptionists were more than helpful, even providing me with a kettle for coffee or more towels, as soon as I asked. The location was perfect, right next to the Oktogon subway that takes you everywhere. Room was very clean and cute. Not very large, but more than enough. I was out most of the time anyway. Since this is a new and a small hotel, there’s no breakfast at the moment, which didn’t bother me, given that there’s a Starbucks nearby. It’s important to book directly from their website because they offer a discount. I saved 75 €, just by booking from them directly. Big thanks to the 2 female receptionists who made my trip and unforgettable one.

Me, my partner and parents stayed here for 4 nights at the end of January. On arrival check in was smooth and we were given the cards for our rooms. Both rooms were spotlessly clean and very spacious (much bigger than be expected) and they had everything we needed for a great holiday, we even used the kitchen facilities, which is unusual for us. The reception staff were really friendly and helped us in regards to directions when we first arrived. I have stayed in various hotels all over the years and I have to say this was the quietest hotel we’ve stayed in, we never heard anyone in their rooms or in the corridors. The hotel location was perfect for us, just down from the boulevard but far away not to be disturbed at night. it was easily accessible to wherever we wanted to walk to.
