First time in Budapest and we decided to spend our first night at the Rock Hotel. The hotel has an outstanding location, walking friendly to many tour sites and restaurants.
The room we booked isn't that spacious and we barely had enough space to store two 28inch suitcases in our room. But we still had a good experience here, memorable parts are the record player and the comfortable bed. As a five-star hotel, it is slightly more affordable than some of the others, given the price we spent, I would rate our experience a 9/10.

Rooms are nice and clean.
Location is great.

The walls were so thin that I was awakened at 1 am by the sound of people talking in the next room. I couldn't sleep because it was so loud, so I wore earplugs. 5-star hotels have never had such thin walls. They should spend more money on foundation work than stylish interior and music.

A good Hotel which we overall enjoyed.
What we like:
The Hard Rock concept with a nice soundbar in the room.
Design and details of the Hotel. For example light goes on in the wardrobe when you open it.
Nice welcome snack and every day water in the room.
Service is good and the rooms where clean.
What was ok:
The breakfast is overall ok but maybe a little bit to less variety.
Parking per day with 35€ a little bit expensive (you need it!)
What we don’t like:
Size of the room for the price is to small. 2 small suitcases is difficult to handle.

The location of the hotel is very good! Next to the famous shopping street in the city center, there are many restaurants nearby within walking distance! It's almost a new decoration, the design and hardware are very good, and the price/performance ratio is very high!
