I don’t know what to really say. It is a big city you need more that 4 days to see the important buildings and monuments. Not so clean, the metro and the buses are so complicated, so easy to lost. The coffee shops and restaurants are far away the one of the other. The Main Street looks like it’s abandoned. You really need to download bolt taxi app if you want to find your hotel. The ferry boat to Margaret’s Island really bad. The told us they transfers us to island and there’s so many places to visit, but in January everything was closed and it was a rainy day, we didn’t have anywhere to go there for coffee or get warm. The drinks are cheap but the souvenirs, the restaurants and ticket for metro tram and buses costs much. In restaurants they keep 15% for tips. Nice buildings though. Some bridges are not open for people but only for cars and buses.

Beautiful city, friendly locals unfortunately its not a cheap as its made out to be, in many cases its more expensive than the UK. Transport links are very easy to follow, and its a clean city , be aware of early morning bin men if you stay in city centre

City is beautiful, but people were very unpleasant. They attacked us verbally even if we didn’t do anything, we just walked from metro to stairs and they were saying things like they don’t want us here and that we should go home, that we’re poor and that’s why we’re in Budapest, etc. I do not recommend this place

Found the place smelly lots of tramps and people harass you for money and cigarettes. Most people were quite rude and seem to not smile. Mights be a culture thing but no one seems to care about service or manners. And walking around the city was full of gas fumes. We went to buy tobacco on the last night and nearly got mugged on the way home. All of the Land marks are amazing and I wish we found the place more friendly.

This was an awful hotel. After you check into the hotel counter, you are given a key fob larger than the one I use for my vehicles back in the states. You then have to cross the street with your luggage, use a security fob to open up a steel security gate. You then walk another fifty yards to the elevator/lift and ride to the third floor. Once you actually find the hotel property, you have to use another security fob to enter another security steel door. Once I arrived to my room it was dark, dreary, and felt like a prison cell. I didn't have any windows but had another steel security door that was locked. The TV was slightly larger than my laptop. I checked out the next morning and went to another hotel.

Wonderful city. I must admit that I prefer Budapest to Prague, however, beware of huntops on Grindr. Hun doesn’t mean hung but Hungarian. I think this country deserve to be a part of the European Union.

Mijn gezin was over Praag souper enthousiast, Budapest viel ons tegen. Wat spijtig!
